I dunno not much. Hopkins is 50 and winning titles so its not like he is doing anything new or legendary.

And btw, even prime for prime, Ward KO's Calzaghe.

The Ward-Froch fight was far from a destrcution, the 115-113 scores were spot on.
Ward spent the last 3 rounds hugging Froch and rubbing the top of his head in Froch's face, he kmows he wouldn't get away with those tactics in the UK which os why he's so hesitant to man up and fight Froch there.

  4. So you are lauding Ward for calling out a retired bum?:rofl:patsch

    Self pwned.

I agree with this. Larry Holmes is another fighter that talks **** from the comfort of his sofa, saying he would clean out the HW division today, come on and do it then Larry.

This. It's disgraceful for a top p4p fighter to call out a retired shot former champ just for a pay day.

People actually angry with Calzaghe (who retired five years ago aged 36) for answering a journalists question about whether he thinks he'd have beaten Ward when he was fighting! They want him to come out of retirement.

    OMSOG!

Zoinks! I can't believe this would all stem from a question posed to a retired fighter. What is he supposed to say...."I was good, but I'd lose to this guy...." ? I'm sure the professional pride still kicks in when asked questions like that.

As for Ward, it is silly to make a rematch with Froch contingent on a later fight with Calzaghe. I guess I can understand the business angle of it, but it seems such a longshot(unless they have some kind of insider info) that it would happen that it seems quite out of left field.

Bigeddie27 are you 12 years old, blind or just dont have a clue about boxing, in what reality can you justify Ward Koing a prime Calzaghe?

The only semsible conclusion that can be drawn from this is that Ward is paralysed with fear at the very thought of fighting Froch in England and needs a mental crutch to lean on so he can tell himself otherwise :deal .
