I don't think Mr Froch has a problem with things being decided in the ring.

I'm using analogies to other sports, because it's widely accepted that politics create problems in boxing. Like now. Ward is actually suffering from the fact that boxing is governed by politics because he has no belt and no bargaining power. He could just be a gentleman and give Froch the return of course...

We don't have 'mythic' champions. As of now, Andre Ward is out of action and out of the ring. Carl Froch holds two World Titles. Until Andre Ward gets back between the ropes, there's nothing more to say on the matter, as he's not currently active.

Again, take my point as it's intended. I'm not saying Froch beats Ward, I'm saying Ward is not in the picture til he fights again and re-stamps his authority on the division.

By the way - it would have helped if he'd gone after Bute after the S6 final, but that's another story. He proper ****ed himself in the arse there, to be fair...

1. Ward is no longer WBA super champion. He was only the super champion (so I read) because he also held the WBC title. A super champion as defined by the WBA is someone who is a unified title holder. When Ward told the WBC to stick it, he lost the WBC title AND the WBA super champion status. That's how I understand the situation. Now Froch, as a unified belt holder, has WBA 'Super Champion' status. I know it's ridiculous, but you made the point, so I'll answer it. So actually, as it stands, Ward has no belts.

Now, as you keep saying, you're a big boxing fan and obviously know a lot about the sport. So that being the case, you will acknowledge that belts=bargaining power, no? And therefore - the fact Froch already fought Ward in the USA aside - as far as the SMW division goes, Froch holds the bargaining power. Even if - and we both seem to agree on this deep down, so I don't quite know why we're arguing (oh yeah, it's cos you're a racist bell-end) - Ward would almost certainly win WHEREVER IT HAPPENS.

2. Did Froch Rabbit punch Kessler? Did he head-but him? Did he clinch? Did he body slam him? No. I would pick Ward to win because he is faster, craftier, and equally strong as Froch. I would however, HOPE that Froch could catch him cleanly and see how Ward reacts to the follow up. That is intrigue, not expectation.

Please try not be so offensive, as difficult as that may be for you, and try not to be racist. If I wanted a fight with a black guy based on skin colour and ethnicity, I would go to Brixton and start one. I wouldn't sit on the internet shouting the odds at everyone that posted something I didn't agree with and bringing race and nationality into it.

Also, if you hardly recognise the belts, why are you so bothered about Ward's WBA status? Sorry, just noticed that before I hit submit...

This is getting silly, dude, Froch is not a champion 'in my head', he is a champion according to 2 sanctioning bodies. My last post stated that I think sanctioning bodies are not the be all and end all, so don't make out like I'm backing them up.
