No way. Audley vs Haye did big business on ppv as a freakshow fight, Audley has the mainstream name don't forget. Froch vs Kessler was still a boxing fans fight even with Skys attention. I have heard many times over how Haye was supposed to have made 7 million vs Audley and 20 million vs Wlad but I have a hard time beleiving that's not just hyperbole, it doesn't seem a believable figure.

 

I am confident that Froch will not get anywhere near gbp7m

No I cant believe that 20,000 capacity tickets selling from £40, £80, 120, 220, 500, 1000 + PPV.. reckon he got at least 3 million.. Probably after fees and that would end up with 2 million..

 

I'm sure i read it was a couple of million each. But when you factor in Tax (unless Froch is paid through a company) that £2m become £1.2m then add trainer fee say 10% thats £1m. Training and living expenses it soon reduces down

 

Lets just say the two men who laid it all on the line got less then the shambles that tarnished the sport in Manchester that night. Sad really..

Plus I doubt very much that audley pulled in more than 1million. Id wudnt be surprised if kessler got twice as much as froch.

 

David Haye made 15-20 Million vs Wladimir Kiltschko.

I think it was 15 Million, i can remember seeing the statistics.

Wladimir Kiltschko made over 20 Million.

 

I think its around £2 million all told, before trainers cuts and that mind

 

Think I saw he had a guaranteed purse of $2M but could end up being more depending on PPV buys.
