I had kessler winning 7-5..

I wanna rewatch some of the rounds because I felt it was closer than Lederman and ESPN and the 2 judges who had it 116 and 118 to Froch

Kessler impressed me with his work but he appeared to never follow up on his best connects

 

I don't see it man. Kessler's moments were very few in the fight. Don't get me wrong, when they exchanged, things were pretty much even, but Froch just kept pushing that jab up into MK's face and keeping him at that distance pretty much the whole fight. THere were 2 or 3 clear Kessler rounds, 4 or 5 clear Froch rounds and some close ones that it seemed were even in power shots, but i felt Froch took due to the sustained jab. I thought he controlled the distance, the pace and outworked Kessler for the majority of the fight.
116-112 Froch.

I usually fall into the ' 2 rounds 1 way or the other is acceptable ' thing, but I can't see the 118-110 Froch card, nor can I see a draw.

The 1st round in particular is one I think a lot of people should revisit.

Count how many jabs land. Then have a close look at Kessler's body work and couple of left hooks. Yes Froch put in more work, but on accuracy & quality...

 

This fight will always be close, and the nod will keep going to the hometown fighter. This is exactly what Froch said about the first fight and why he wanted it in his hometown. Doubt they will make it happen on neutral territory.

I had Froch comfortably. Kessler couldnt get past the jab.

 

If you had Kessler winning you don't know how to score a fight or you're biased as **** & this is coming from a fight fan who dislikes Froch with a passion, Mikkel was obviously the more polished, skillful fighter but his lack of will to win sealed his fate, he never put out a consistent offensive pace, while Carl worked the entire fight, his jab was what won him the close rounds...

Kessler waited while he let Reich get off first for the majority of the bout, Mikkel landed some very good shots in spots but Froch answered back pretty much every time, I feel Kessler was visibly hurt more in the fight as well as outworked, although he came on strong in spurts late that hardly won him the fight...

A 7-5 Kessler win is pathetic biased fan boyism and you should truly be ashamed, Mikkel was out thrown and out landed in power shots and jabs, hurt more and not to mention he allowed Froch to control the fight with his jab...how the hell could you have him winning is beyond me....

 

I had it a draw but cant really argue with Froch by 2 rounds max.

Don't see where people could have pulled the rounds for Kessler to make it a draw... nevermind a 7-5 win LOL
