I had it the way the judges did. 116-112. When Froch utilized the jab, Kessler was stuck for a while having to force his way in.

I had it 115-113 for Froch. Can also accept 116-112. I don“t see the draw and i felt watching it live that Kessler needed round 12 to deserve it. (Not that i believed he would get it)

having hate for him is fine by me. just as long as no bias comes into it and credit is given where it's due.

you're right, anyone who gave that to Kessler is incompetent in the extreme. they very much should refrain from scoring ever again. so many on this site can't score for ****! it's hideous.

i've seen loads of IB's score cards. he's one of the worst i have ever seen. he talks sense when it comes to boxing, but he should give the scoring a rest.

Funny thing is that this is almost a complete reversal of what people argued in the first fight. Some people felt Kessler got it on work rate but was sloppy (saying it was his vision problem) but Froch put in the better work but the hometown crowd swayed the judges.

114-114, and I arrived it through an entirely different route than IB (gave Froch the 1st, for example). It was the type of fight where scores of 116-112 Froch to 115-113 Kessler would be acceptable, since there were a number of closely contested rounds.

But, of course, it's easier for some people to claim that they are always right, rather than to take this into consideration, isn't it?

Wow I'm quite surprised by this.

I love Kessler, pulling for him hard, threw down all my vCash on him, talked him up to my friends before the fight, and I had this fight 9-3 to Froch. There were 2 more rounds I could have seen Kessler taking.

This fight really pushed myself to keep a neutral scoring mindset for two things I always say; a) I don't overvalue the last 30 seconds of the round and b) I don't overvalue useless activity. Nonetheless I think Froch was very effective at these. He overwhelmed Kessler with volume, but even shots that seemingly missed really moved Kessler and was good pressure from Froch. Also, there were 4 rounds where I though Kessler was in control in close rounds but clearly winning them through the first 2 minutes of the round, but Froch really laid it on him in the last minute of them. So much so that I thought as equally that Kessler was previously in control, Froch had overtaken him in the stanza.

8-4. At worst 7-5. Froch won that fight and it was clear. What are you guys smoking? You have to be one biased person to actually score the fight for Kessler.

Comon Kessler didnt win this fight..

    Its very clear..

    1-2-3 for Froch

    4-5-6 For Kessler

    7-8 For Froch

    9 Even or Froch

    10 Froch

    11 Kessler

    12 Froch

If we count the 9th round out, then its 7-4.

If Kessler gets the 9th its 7-5, if not its 8-4

    This is so clear... Please...

I had the fight 8-4 Froch, could as easily have been 7-5, but I had nowhere a draw or a Kessler win.
And this is coming from a dane and a Kessler fan.
