Is he deluded? Or does anyone else think he can win a world title? I certainly don't think he can.

Ricky Burns was his best chance at a World title, and he got smacked around the ring.

A good domestic level lightweight, nothing more.

He sells tickets and makes money. Simple as that.

Only if he drops down which doesn't seem likely even then still a difficult ask but you never know he certainly has talent but unfortunately plenty of baggage to go with it.

Can make a "big" fight with the Rees crolla winner, if either look good beating Mitchell then thats a ready made opponent for Burns.

Rees Vs Crolla - Rees wins easy.

Rees Vs Mitchell - Hearn says winner gets Burns, Mitchell/Burns would be a hard sell but Rees will obviously win that fight so then you get Rees/Burns.

Decent all British fight, probably rather low cost and it'll be well received.

Where does Mitchell go if he beats Rees/Crolla winner which is more than feasible, he ain't going to fight Burns again the Brit forum would go into meltdown if that happened poor Billy would have to go into witness protection.

He doesnt live the life outside the ring. Doesnt have the focus or discipline to be a World champion. He is more talented than Burns, but does he beat Burns in determination, focus, will or heart. No. If he had this attributes he would have won a World title by now.

If he is still a big ticket seller then there is no reason why he wont have a shot at a world title by the end of 2014. Winning it is a different matter.... His best chance would be for someone to clear up the division leaving him to pick up a vacant belt when they become available.

If Mitchell were to beat Rees/Crolla winner (which is only feasible if Crolla somehow wins) then surely its a seperate route, please god for Billys sake.
