Groves degale 2

Discussion in 'British Boxing Forum' started by ginger warrior, May 28, 2013.

  1. Maybe degale needs it more but is it just me or is this rematch more relevant than everThey both need a test and they both have improved, look at the original ppv sold out arena

Who wants to see it happen
    And who wins

  4. This is the problem,a loss or unimpressive win sets him back away from the belt holders and paydays

I'm sure I heard that one party I'm guessing Hennessy offered a summer showdown at loftus road
Maybe this fight will be like our middleweights who need to win a belt to enable the domestic clashes to be viable for everyone

As for the fight I think an on his game degale makes it really interesting,it also looked in the first fight as though he carried the power

no need for this fight again yet maybe a few more years but imo both havent progressed as far as they should have since the first.

Think this should be left until one or the other has a world title. Really think they both have the ability to do that.

Only happen if it was put forward as an eliminator. Would love to see it again, reckon it would be a far better scrap this time.

To close to call though, been impressed by both.

think this is all wrong for DeGale. Groves has serious momentum and would likely win the fight. but if DeGale can get on track and pick up a few more good wins then i reckon he could beat Groves.

  11. yeah ive realised that. i dont understand why maybe its because he was so cocky after winning the gold.

imo hes a very good boxer, can switch stances easily and his speed is quite surprising for a SMW.

i scored the groves fight for degale by 2 points aswell

I tend to agree that he is somewhat disregarded on here.

Would be a lot better than the first one, both fighters have developed since their first outing. It would be a 50-50 fight again.

  14. I thought groves nicked the first fight and impressed me loads,I was confident degale was going to put on an exhibition
    But roles reversed this time

    Wouldn't groves be favourite?
