It appears Marciano has won this poll, I concede. I like both fighters and admire both for their respective qualities, and thought it would be a bit closer on the polls. I was wrong

Lol, you're kidding right? Have you seen those guys fight? Charles and Walcott had much better footwork and Moore was way craftier and could actually hurt a fighter.

If those three fought Zags resume they'd be 138-0 combined. Lets not pretend Joey fought near the level of comp as those guys or Marciano.

Not so sure the fight would be stopped either. The cut wasn't in a bad spot though severe.

Charles vs Hopkins or Walcott vs Hopkins wouldve been competetive

Calzaghe > Jones, Hopkins > Charles, Walcott and Moore

I've seen the fight and the pictures. I'm not saying its out pf the question, only that its possible it wouldn't be stopped because it wasn't in a spot that could impair his vision causing him to take unnecessary damage.

You don't know anything about boxing history to even back this up. Put some thought into it and I'll happily tear your argument down. Just because you say something doesn't make it so. Give us some substance as to WHY you think this. I don't think you can do it.

I will agree with this on one premise. ATG wise, Hopkins has those other three beat IMO

Pound for pound he's ahead of Walcott, not Charles or Moore. Charles tops most historians 175 list and is ranked by most as a top 10 p4p. Moore is usually in the top 3 at 175 and in the top 15 to 20 p4p.

Unfortunately I miss many fights because of my weekend work schedule, but it wouldn't be surprising. Fights, at least in my opinion, are stopped much to soon today in many cases. You're probably right the more I think about it though. I think the docs might panic seeing that cut today even though it wasn't in a dangerous spot.
