Why is Froch not in The Ring top 10 P4P yet they have Broner at #6?

I personally have them both fighting it out with a handful of others for the final two spots.

Froch has fought everybody and has only beat Bute clearly. Taylor was winning going away until he tanked, Kessler 1 and 2 could have gone either way (2 was a better performance by froch) , Ward . . . we know what happened there, Dirrell . . . once again could have gone either way, Pascal was a solid win. I still have on the bubble but have him penciled in at 9.

Broner, Highly skilled and a questionable win against PDL but he has EASILY outclassed everyone before and since. record may not be as deep but is multi-divisional titlist.

its a tough call really I find myself questioning my bottom five on a regular basis and these two guys are constantly in the mix.

Ring's p4p ranking system is a completely joke. They try to ultra hype certain fighters. Mares, Matthysse, Froch and Rigo should be in all p4p rankings.:yep

Broner is a hyped bum (not even a top 20 p4p fighter IMO) and he'll get K.O'd if he'll fight Matthysse or Garcia !:yep

I can't think of any other sport. Where an athlete can compete once a year against substandard opposition and still be at NO.1. It's an absolute farce.

Broner was the best fighter in the world from 130-135. He beat the best fighters at both weight classes

At 135 the only other threat left Ricky Burns ducked him

If he beats Malignaggi he'll have won a title in 3 weight classes and is considered a top contender at 140

    Seriously stop hating white boys

Froch's just a brawler really when you look at it.
    The way he fought Taylor
    Lost to Dirrell
And got dominated by Ward is not how P4P fighters fight.

It is pretty nice to rank all fighters in the world on a single list. Of course it should never be a "if they all were the same size, who would then be the best?" list. It should be based on accomplishments.

The concept of P4P means if you take a fighter and not factor in weight then that fighter could fight in any weight. You know how packed the Welterweight is. If you were to put Froch in the welterweight and give him the 147lbs body do you really think he could compete against Marquez, Mayweather,Pacquiao, Bradley, Alexander based on his boxing skills?
How does Froch's skills compare with Rigondeux or Hopkins?
The guy is so slow, his technique is amateurish, he has no defence, fights with a chin hanging in the air and can not really adapt. When he misses a shot he does a 360 degree turn, do you think he could fight Pacquiao fighting that way?
If he can't then you now know why he's not on the P4P list.
If you think he could fight at any weight based on his skills the you are beyond redemption.

Broner being in the Top anything is just disgraceful.

  15. Broner is the most ridiculous p4p entry I have ever seen, he has absolutely no claim to such high ranking at this point in his career

Froch really taking the place of someone like Martinez, who was just beaten up in his last fight by a way lower ranked fighter.
