Not to be ranting too hard, but AB have not achieved **** in boxing!

He is a paper champion but he has excellent boxing skills and a appealing personalty which makes him popular.

    THE BIGGEST DUCK MOVE
But I don't see how people can constantly praise this guy on this forum when he DUCKED the most popular division in Boxing (Jr. Welterweight) to fight Paulie! Lets be honest, Paulie is the number 20 ranked Welterweight in the world. Broner gets all the credit in the world by beating Khan, Garcia, Peterson, Mattysse, Rios, Alvarado, or even Karim Mayfield.

    HIS BIGGEST WIN
His biggest wins is against Ponce De Leon who is a ok fighter but nothing great and I think AB loss that fight! Ponce De Leon is a ok fighter that loses to A/b+ fighters but will beat the **** out of a C level fighter. De Leon have lose to AB, Gamboa, Mares, Juan Manuel Lopez and Celestino Caballero. That that is his signature win!

WHEN I LOST RESPECT FOR HIM
I lost respect when he said to MAtthyesse after is KO win against Lamont Peterson "MATTHYESSE NEEDS TO AVENGE TO LOSSES BEFORE THINKING ABOUT FIGHTING HIM".

First problem with this Statement, AB only fought ONE fighter with out a lose which was Eloy PErez which also has two draws and no signature wins.

SEcond problem with that statement is that everybody knows he beat Alexander and Zab Judah. ( And I am a big Zab Judah fan!)

Third problem is that AB impose that Matthyesse goes back and avenge loses to guys he REALLY BEAT but I guess Paulie dosent have to advange his losses against Hatton, Khan, Diaz, and Cotto! right?

I agree, had Broner had that, he wouldn't have resorted to the stuff he's pulling to grab attention.

Broner had a June date set aside for him. After he beat Rees; Garcia, Khan, Peterson, and Matthysse all had fights lined up and weren't available. Rios and Alvarado were about to fight eachother at the end of March. There was no guarantee that either would be a available in June. They're both with Top Rank anyway so getting Broner in there with either one of them would have been next to impossible. So that leaves Mayfield. That means we're criticizing a guy for not bypassing a shot at a WW title in order to take less money in order to fight in a non title fight at LWW against a guy who is not a name and has never won or even fought for a world title. In what world does that make sense?

99% of the boxing fanbase, including floyd fans, can admit that Broner is a copy cat cornball clown. But you cannot deny that he has skills and will be relevant for another 8 years at least. He's young as hell and his resume will grow eventually. He'll be a paper champ for now but give it some time and that **** will change.

Well its that catch 22 **** with fans isn't it? If they bring him along too quickly and he loses we get to say "what the **** were they thinking". If they move him along slowly we get to say "what the **** were they thinking". Its good to be a boxing fan, we always get to use hindsight 20/20 to make ourselves look good.

Shane Mosely also skipped the 140 devision to fight Oscar and skipped fighting floyd at 135. You don't hear anyone giving Shane **** about that move .

Are you saying the Paulie is on the same level that ODH was at the time when Mosley moved up?

For ****'s sake how do people act like Broner didn't completely destroy DeMarco?

He hasn't faced his biggest tests yet but give him time. No need to brand him a ducker yet before he's even had his first fight past 135.

Does not matter if paulie is on the same level as oscar , what does matter according to your post is that Shane did the same thing and avoided allot of good competition at 135 and 140 to move into the more lucrative 147 devision.
