If they had got a better opponent for Groves that would have mad ea big difference and they did try. Magee, Oostizuen, Sartisan, Balaszay, Jermain Taylor, Vlasov were all offered the fight. They were very close to getting Sartisan.

 

While that is true, the undercard should still be a higher standard.

Its an opportunity to showcase fighters to a different audience and to a large crowd. Also the main event could be a stinker, or worse theres a cut in the 2nd round like Khan v Barerra and you end up with a white wash.

 

True, I still would have liked another 50/50 fight added to it though, I personally think that Skys PPV model is outdated, it will be interesting to see what the next PPV line up is.
