I'm pretty sure every body, even those who hate the catch weight, list the Cotto win as one of Pacquiao's best in his career.

So I don't know how far the "detractors" actually go being that they still recognize it as one of Pac's best.

Just like how Alvarez will be one of Floyds' best scalps should he win.

  2. Rios is a mini Marg lol. What do you thin of Rios? I think he sucks too

I'm pretty sure Mayweather threw that out there in order to get what he really wanted. If Canelo's people think Mayweather wants the fight at 147, then they are more likely to agree to 152. Canelo's people probably see this a win for their side.

I don't care about all the Pac Floyd talk but I love how you people like to re-write history. At the moment Oscar was bashed by everyone in here for cherry-picking Pac. He was overwhelming favorite. How was Pac fault that he decided to come at 145 and eat dear meat

Mayweather weighted officially against Cotto, 151... but 147 was his unofficial weight. Canelo's last fight he rehydrated to 172... he was a LHW in the fight...

So... 147 vs 172 on fight night... that's 25 lb weight advantage. so whats your point? if you think Pac's draining is justified, then surely you must think Mayweathers is????? Canelo is fing huge. that said, mayweather is a hypocrite.

Margo was slow, no defense, sucks at 154 (just check it out), had gotten absolutely KO'd in brutal fashion in his last big fight. Canelo on the other hand has some skills, and has some decent handspeed and good power at his weight. I imagine he will be working for speed in this one, he will need all he can get.

Luckily neither of them are vacant. Like these two fighters who were not even in the top 10 at 154, who fought for the vacant 154 WBC title a couple of years ago. They some how got to fight for the title over all the other deserving top 10 JMW's at the time. I'm certainly not talking about Pacquiao vs Margarito at 150lbs, oh no, certainly not.

That wasn't the official weight for the fight when he stepped on the scales.

Disappointing catch weight for this fight though.

  11. I agree that the Cotto fight was Pacquiao's 2nd best win, behind Barerra 1. ESB, however is full of people who discredit this win, saying the 2lb catchweight DRAINED Cotto. It just irks me there are so many people on this forum who DKSAB. Yes, this is a direct message to all of you so called "*****s"

152lbs? Now this just give the haters an excuse to discredit once again.

Floyd should've just stand his ground and say 147 or no fight. If the kid wants it bad enough, he will get on that treadmill. Floyd should have to cater to someone below him, especially someone 12 years younger.
