So what? Cotto never fought at 145 before. If he had then your point would make sense.

Oscar dragged Pac up two weights classes and weighed less than Pac in the ring.

According to Floyd Canelo should still be undefeated if he loses.

"I look at Miguel Cotto as an undefeated fighter because he faced Pacquiao, but Pacquaio caught him at a catch weight. He wasn't the best Miguel Cotto."

He broke it again Marquez and paid the penalty to Marquez.

    Mayweather never broke the contract.

That's all I'm saying. You obviously didn't know that until now.

So TECHNICALLY - Mayweather has never fought at a catchweight, or had a fight set for a catch weight by the time he weighed in.

    I know.

    Pac: Cotto, Marquez, Margarito

    Floyd: Marquez, Alvarez

Floyd would need to have one more CW fight to catch up.

I don't know what you are critical of my post for. It is factual.

No official fines... so technically you're wrong.

He agreed to terms with Marquez's camp before the fight regarding weight.

Rumors were either 600,000 or 1.2 mil was paid to JMM to move up the weight limit.

    Actually it's not.

doesn't change the fact that 152 is stupid but the technical fact is Mayweather hasn't never fought at a catch weight.

You must have a stressful life taking everything a boxer says as gospel and truth.

It's called persona, image, and marketing.

Obviously he didn't view Cotto as undefeated as I could dig up a quote for you where Floyd said he thought Clottey had beaten Cotto.

Clearly trying to sell a fight and to get fools like you to bite on what he says.

Bet you made a thread about Floyd/Alexander when Floyd tweeted that a few months back too, didn't you? Since you believed that.

You've also probably brought up Matthew Hatton since Floyd once expressed him as a potential opponent in an interview.

    Damn you're dumb.

Ya he also said a million times he doesn't fight fighters at catchweights, and talked all kinds of **** about Pac's one or two CW bouts.

I think Floyd knows he owes the fans a superfight. Therefore he was pushed into this fight. How can you not give him a pass for the catchweight? It got the two of them in the ring together. Boxing needs this fight. I want to see BOTH fighters go into the fight at their very best. But I'd say 152 lb Canelo is still more dangerous than anyone at 147 or someone like Matthysse. Unlike the 09 version of Cotto, Canelo is young, hasn't been KOed, and his confidence is sky high coming off his biggest victory yet. The extra 2 lbs won't bother him much. But whatever. Hate if you want. If you're a pro at it you're going to always find a way to dislike something. All I know is I have been so ****ing hungry for a superfight to happen since '09 and now that we finally got one I'm not going to nit-pick.
