and pacquiao said for 4 years that he didn't want to fight Floyd because he's scared of needles and now he's agreed to needles.

It all depends on the weigh Canelo is at during the fight.
He used to be 164-167. Suddenly he bumped up to 170+
At 164 he will have no trouble making the weight. He´s a young dude and taking off 12 pounds should be easy (he does have a pretty good team behind him).

It's a great fight. Catch weight? It's 2 lbs. If Canelo is taking this fight seriously, it shouldn't be a problem. I would have preferred the 154 lbs titles be defended at the proper weight, but this is as good as it's going to get and I'm not complaining.

Floyd and Canelo, you will both have my money soon enough. ;)

  8. What catch weight did Pac have against JMM??? as far I remember it was below 147 where Pac was fighting not the other way round.
If Pac had made JMM fight at the full 147 you would be bitching about that too...
Was it not floyd that made JMM move up TWO divisions and then not meet the weight negotiated, hence paying JMM $$$'s

So I guess thats 2 all lmao

It is illegal for his opponent to make an effort for once?

Manny can cherrypick a fighter and demand a catchweight and get away with it but Canelo is the one who wants to fight Floyd. Shouldn't he be the one giving grounds?

It's fair and reasonable. It's not always about who the cash cow is, but what makes the most sense.

    Pac/JMM III was at a 144 catchweight.

You claim that favors JMM rather than 147, where Pac and not JMM had been fighting.

And then you bring up Floyd/JMM at a catchweight of 144.

You claim that favors Floyd somehow? In what world exactly?

    Hypocrite.

    shut the hell up.

Canelo is going to lose too much weight on his own will, so it's Floyd's fault
