You could just as well be talking about Wlad.

Vitaly would stop Norton in 5 or 6 round. A Wlad fight is much more interesting because he plays it safe instead of going for the kill. If Norton could hang for 15 rounds with Holmes I give him a fair chance of fighting on even terms with Wlad, but eventually see him being worn down and stopped in the 11th or 12th.

 

I'm not saying he would beat Wladimir and its a foregone conclusion.

What I am saying is, the way you're describing Kenny, you can describe Wladimir, he's got a glass chin and he panicks in the ring when hurt.

Kenny and Wladimir are no spring chickens when it comes to throwing punches, both men are in danger in this fight. Particularly the early version of Wladimir Klitschko.

Norton was damn good fighter in his day. But I doubt he would destroy Klitschkos... It is hard to compare these guys from different eras how they would deal against each other. Even Norton fought against truely great opposition he never faced huge, athletic, hard punching guy like Wlad is...

 

I see no way Norton could beat Vitali he was never a guy to bore his way inside. His Chin is also a liability.

Norton was KO'd by single punches, Wlad has never been. He was gassed against Purrity, shell shocked by quick left hands against Sanders and he had a blood sugar episode against Brewster. Those are all his losses in a row, never once down for the count. All those fights were before he worked on his defense and footwork with Steward, except Brewster, which was his first fight with Manny in his corner. How long ago were those fights? 10 years? Ken Norton had a chin made of fine china and he can't box as well as Wladimir does now either. I see a less than 10% chance of him beating Wlad - period.

 

This I agree with, Keno Norton would have a much better chance against the earlier version of Wlad, pre Steward.

wow great argument, Wlad got starched by Purrity, Sanders and Brewster. Norton is a far harder puncher and better fighter than any of those clowns.
