If those 2 lbs doesn't matter then why did Floyd insist on a CW?

Alvarez will lose when he is a light heavyweight fighting a junior middleweight on fight night.

If you count the JMM match which should have been a catch weight but he just blatantly cheated on the scales that make him worse tbh.

Cotto weighed in 146 the fight prior to Pac as well and the *****s made a GIGANTIC stink about him having to weigh 145.

    The catchweight isn't an issue.

HOWEVER after the fight if Floyd wins, all the Floyd haters will make it an issue.

I'm not really a fan of catchweights but this is the biggest fight in boxing and there is more of a legit reason for the catchweight than in past cases.

Agreed. Amazing how some people are trying to compare the Pac-Cotto situation to this as if it's similar. Cotto weighed 146 for his fight before and was then being made to come all the way down to 145. They also never allowed him to sign a rehydration clause. Dude was like a zombie that night.

None of that **** will be happening for Floyd-Canelo, though. Canelo's dropping the same one pound but he's dropping it in a good way.

Canelo is a young lion in his prime, it won't be a problem.
