Floyd did the same to Marquez so it would only be fair.

Calling Canelo a LHW is stupid. So you think Canelo is the same size as Hopkins and Dawson on the night of his fights. Aside from the Trout fight, Canelo has come in in the mid 160s so at worst it will be the equivalent of the Ortiz fight.

I swear *****s confuse me. Floyd walks around at 150 plus pounds and his fans claim he doesn't like to drain but he is really a LW. Canelo who is shorter and has a shorter reach then Floyd is really a LHW. I can't keep up.

Agree, also a win against Danny Garcia could also be a huge one.

Except if Canelo comes in at 154, he wont hammer Floyd around the ring for 12 rounds like Floyd did to JMM.

He wanted Cotto to be comfortable, he never mentioned wanting Alvarez to be comfortable.

He'd probably have to fight Floyd for free. I'm sure the financial implications are huge.

Mayweather was supposed to fight JUanMa at 144 but showed up at 146.2 pounds difference.

Even if Canelo weighed in at 154,you and I both know he shows up the next day at 170.

When this fight takes place Mayweather will be 153 and Canelo will be about 165 or so.That's the fight we're gonna see.Not 2 guys at 152.But one guy at 153 and the other guy in the 160's.Advantage Canelo............no excuses.Make weight and blow up lke usual.(Fake junior middleweight!)

Canelo's walking around weight is probably around High 170's/Low 180's. His fighting weight is around 170! This man is not a light middleweight at all. Why do you think Canelo is so tired in the second half of his fights? It's because of the dehydration he's putting his body through.

He's shortening his career like this because he's been desperate for a fight with Floyd. Floyd's gonna destroy his 0 and Canelo might never be the same again. It's extremely hard for an already drained person to lose extra weight.

1 he spend MASSIVE amounts of time discrediting Pacs entire career and had to take it back through court orders.
He cares a TON about Pac.

2 Losing weight hurts even a few LB, this same argument was made for Cotto having to lose only 1 more lb.... according to Mayweather this hurt Cotto even if he only had to go from 146 to 145 why would 153 to 152 not hurt Alvarez?

    Double standards much?

a fake junior middle would not be able to make 152. No chance. Most fighters weight drain to make weight.
