    What was the point ?
    To make money I guess.

Ali was the real king of the "circus act" extravganza ..... see him around the same time with his matches against wrestlers.

Man, I sure wish Cosell had been subjected by his bosses to provide commentary for rasslin' shows! His contempt for works like "Foreman Fights Five!" was priceless!

it amazes me how hard an elite boxer is on himself for ONE LOSS. He has 40 other victories and he let one loss hurt him so much. Should have learned something from Ali and learn to forget about losses and make comebacks.

Ali was a clown with foreman after 1974 , foreman would have ****ed him after 1975, he was facing cans like chuck wepner, rematch with norton(a man who foreman could kill in 2 rounds) just laughable. FOREMAN WAS THE BEST HW IN THE PLANET NEXT TO ALI AMONG 1974-1976 AND ALI NEVER FOUGHT REMATCH WITH HIM. IF NORTON HAD WON IN 1976(HE DID), FOREMAN WOULD HAVE BEEN THE CHAMPION AGAIN IN 1-2 ROUNDS EASILY..

You can blame his trainer Archie Moore a little for that. Archie kept telling George punch, punch, keep punching. Archie figured George punched so hard that the next punch would be the one to KO Ali. George was on a 24 fight KO streak and he thought the same thing. Ali had already lost and won close fights to Norton and Frazer, George blasted each of them out in two rounds. Everyone was waiting for Ali to get KO'd the same way.

George had a pretty padded record but a lot of fighters were still intimidated by him and George had a powerful clubbing punch but as you can see easy to counter. Not to take away from George he was a Olympic champ and a Big heavyweight 6'3 and about 217lb in shape but he was beatable, slow and hittable, a good hard punching counter puncher with decent hand speed a solid chin gives him fits. Joe Louis would have had a field day

He came back and corrected a lot of his flaws, rolled with punches and learned to pace himself and relax. They say that "Youth is wasted on the young" and IF is a big word but If the OLD George could fight in the young George body...who knows

Chuck Wepner was bigger than Foreman. Ali was a giant slayer!

Foreman knock out five bums in toronto to get his confidence back but it back-fired he let his emotions get the best of him and it turned into a bloody circus!

you are one of the biggest trolls on this forum and one of the biggest foreman haters, so **** off, foreman was 217 pounds in shape? so he was not in shape at 225 against norton?. foreman woul dhave knocked joe louis out, because louis had a crappy chin to deal with the power of george and he was too static and foreman did cut the ring pretty well and louis was not a runner, foreman would kill him toe to toe. , (max baer was crap next to foreman):hi:
