personally I think there is a good chance of him coming in above 152.. Maybe if he does mayweather will then try and introduce a rehydration limit. Then again maybe he wont:lol:

Canelo is a super-middle weight or a light heavyweight. There's no arguing about that. Also you can't bring up past fights 1-2 years ago, don't forget Canelo is still young and his body is growing. It's not unreasonable for him to grow into a bigger frame in 2 years and subsequently carry more weight.

Canelo at the least should be a MW and if he was fighting back in the day with same day weigh ins he would be a SMW fact.

PBF walks around at 152 or 151 he's not even a big WW and guys who fight at JWW walk around weighing more than he does hell even some LW do. Canelo walks around at 175 plus he has to cut serious weight to fight at JMW. Typically you fight at a weight 15-20 pounds lower than your walk around weight. Guys like PBF are the exception not the norm.

Canelo would be credited with an ATG on his resume. If Canelo doesn't make weight, Floyd has the option to pull out. It is his decision if he decides to fight and then loses.

Canelo a 22 year old professnal athlete who fights at 154, if he can't make 152 I call that being undisciplined. He has plenty of time and funds to get his diet Strength and conditioning coaches on plan to make weight for his biggest fight ever and in boxing today. I believe he makes weight, and if he doesn't who's really going to care all that much the fight will go on.

I hope he does. I was thinking about that when I read the news of the catchweight. Floyd came in two pounds over for the Marquez fight. Pay the fine and fight the fight. I honestly believe Canelo will lose either way, but it would just be funny to me.

Was it undisciplined when Floyd did not make 144 vs JMM?

Everybody knows Canelo walks around at nearly 170.He's a big guy pretending to be a not-so-big guy. He'll show up in the 160's..........like usual.

Canelo would probably have half his purse awarded to Floyd.

I don't think it should be a sanctioned title bout given there is a catch weight. Just IMO. These ABC organizations really need to stop sanctioning catch weight bouts for titles.

    Other than that, good fight.

Actually he had fought above 135 numerous times. He was 147 in the ring for David Diaz
