Brian Rose was the British Light Middleweight Champ for the last couple years.
Vacated the title after winning it outright & has now moved up to a fringe contender basically at 154.

 

I think they gave Brians people a bs excuse because if he had someone else signed already he wouldnt be able to help himself and would have announced it already.

Mundine had a fall out with the IBO, id be suprized if he went back to them.

 

I just posted a thread of a Shane Mosley interview Mundine has offered him big money to fight him here. It's either WBA regular belt or IBO title I reckon. Cameron and Green were ranked 10 and 12 by the IBO at CW and fought for the vacant title. Never seen Rose fight is he any good?

 

Well after winning the British title outright Rose has moved beyond that level.
"The Lion" struggled at times before getting the late stoppage against faded Joachim Alcine a month or so back.
Rose lacks power & the boxing skills at the elite level but would be a solid contender & test for a top 10 guy in the strong 154 division.

 

Wants to fight Trout, doesnt turn up to mandatory purse bid. go figure, same old same old
