I think Canelo is gonna try to employ a Oscar De La Hoya type gameplan. Try to walk Mayweather back to the ropes with his jab and then let go fast combinations when he's against the ropes.

I doubt he'll have as much success, but the cards will be closer than the Cotto cards

That's called breach of contract. It's legally binding and perfectly within his rights.

Same with Pac having the right to cancel on Cotto if he didn't drain enough.

Explain to me , if it's not an advantage- then WHY do it ?

Also Floyd said it was a problem when others do it also ?

    So why ?

Im probably going to get a lot of crap for this thread but let me get the disclosure out the way before I start. I am not a mayweather fan, never was but I do appreciate some of the changes he has made in and out of the ring within the last couple of years. Having said that what in the world makes you Canelo fans think he has a legitimate chance of beating Floyd?

Lets see the last 5 fights:

    Austin Trout

    Josesito Lopez

    Kermit Cintron

    Alfonso Gomez

    Ryan Rhodes

Which one of these guys are top contenders? Ok if these guys arent neither are Mathew Hatton or the other Cotto. You guys believe the hype, get carried away and then get heartbroken everytime. Im actually suprised DLH agreed to throw him in the lions den. Just my .02

So you're just going to make the same thread over and over, hoping that one will take?

The hole in your strategy is that it isn't twelve hours ago.

 Thank you! You know I was just going to make a thread saying we need more Alvarez-Mayweather threads. Brilliant contribution.

I keep hearing that PBF demanded the catchweight. But it could possibly be the other way around. Instead of PBF bringing Saul down, I think it is actually Saul bringing PBF up.
