I give Floyd credit for fighting Canelo even at 152 but if he wants to be lineal champ it's 154 or nothing, obviously

 

Ya, I don't really have an issue with the weight but will also be careful not to parade Floyd around as the lineal 154 champ if/when he wins.

Why not? There is no such thing as a 154lbs division. JMW division is anything between 147.1 - and 154.

 

Maybe mayweather vs PAC next for the 150lb championship. Most prestigious weight division in the sport

But this will confirm it for anyone who didn't recognize the Trout/Canelo winner as lineal.

The catchweight really sucks, but it still is a legitimite lineal title, as Junior Middleweight has a MAXIMUM of 154 pounds, not a minimum requirement. If they wanted to weigh in at 145 it would still be for the lineal title at JMW.

 

that is Correct. the JMW limit is at 154 but thats just the limit, the JMW starts at 148 all the way to 154.. :bbb

 

if you dint have **** for Brains you should have known that 154 is not a boxing division, the JMW division is from 148 to 154, so yeah even if the fight takes place at 152 then the Lineal title is for the JMW division you fool

 

actually, JMW is anything below 154. theoretically, a 90 pound dude could fight there.
