The bottom line is that Khan is completely inferior to Froch when it comes to PR and pulling off arrogance.
I liked Khan,so when he was trying to pull all that **** accusing Marquez of ducking him,Floyd a coward etc,if he had any charisma or was even able to be funny like Froch does, why on earth would I turn against Khan if I used to be a fan?
Apart from Americans who don't like the fact that Ward is a financial wash out,it's always the Khan die hards who take Carl's comments the hardest.

I have my own theory to why that is,but what do you think?

Instead we get Tyson Fury attacking Froch's nose.

    Well said!!

I have wrote several posts regarding this issue.

Joe was most definitely the better boxer and I believe that he would have beat Froch ten times out of ten!!

But the sad fact is that Joe cared too much about his "0" to really go after the fights that would have made any claim by Froch as to who was the greater fighter completely inconsequential!!

People can mention Hopkins not fighting Joe in Cardiff or why Joe waited until RJJ was a shell before he fought him, or why Joe never fought James Toney, despite Toney constantly berating him and it is ammunition for the debate!!

The fact is that I believe that had Joe fought the three greats mentioned above, whilst in their primes, he may have lost one, two or all three, but then again he may have won all three fights!!

Joe's reluctance to do what Froch has done, get on a plane and fight a bona fide world champ in his back yard on more than one occasion does allow an (in my opinion) inferior champion like Froch to make such claims that are quite clearly aimed at Joe!!

Get used to it Joe, you've a lot more of it to come!!

Which makes a refreshing change from Tyson attacking his own nose (no doubt you have seen the vid :))

    Ward, maybe?

I am not too sure that we have seen the best of Andre, but from what I have seen (and assuming we have a ref who does not consider headbutting to be a legal blow) I would call Ward-Calzaghe a 50/50 fight.

And that is more a compliment to Ward than any criticism of Joe.

Joe was great, but he could have done so more more to enhance his legacy!!

Obviously couldn't stump up the crown jewels

"I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he's ever had," said Calzaghe. "But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown jewels I wouldn't want to risk it."

I think Carl was under appreciated for so long, he's over compensating for the praise he's getting now.

Calzaghe is right t's not his place to say where he stands. Joe can come across arrogant and dismissive at times but i thought his comments in this article are spot on

    I prefer Froch's record to Joe's.

Taking on Taylor in the US and fighting Kessler in his own back yard etc won me over.

Joe was obviously the better operator but Froch lives for the sport, he's as dedicated as they come and loves to mix it, a fight between both of them in their prime would of been excellent.

froch's resume is very strong but fighting Taylor in the states and losing to kessler in denmark aren't exactly the highlights

Some spot on comments from Joe but Bute being domestic level is being stupid and Taylor and Dirrell are world class fighters or were.

Cleverly needs to fight someone before commanding that fight IMHO.

He went on to become a SMW champion! He lost the rematch on a closed eye, which isn't a proof of much.
