    Floyd's homebois lining up his next fight with the winner of the undercard Garcia?

    If the undercard needs a rematch, we might have to watch some Mayweather-Maidana

    This didn't go unnoticed yesterday, but I get hyped over it on every new thread. Probably false hope too. :lol: :verysad Not that it shouldn't or doesn't deserve it's own headliner event.

    It's a perfect showcase for Floyd's next opponent though. More people are going to BUY Mayweather-Alvarez than Showtime has ever had viewers on any single regular 'free' event and probably by a considerable margin at that. This is the one.

    I seriously doubt that there will be a rematch clause for Garcia/Matthysse. Matthysse clearly isn't a rematch clause type of guy and Garcia doesn't have enough juice to force it into the contract since Lucas appears to be Golden Boy's chosen one. Not to mention that they both have their sights set on Mayweather and a rematch would just delay a fight that everyone wants to see...

    Lucas will really be the last straw. If he blows out Garcia, there's going to be a lot of noise. Weaker than previous ones, but it'll be there.
