All of those fighters were journeymen or over the hill by the time floyd fought them except Hatton, Castillo and corralles.... marquez was fighting out of his weight class. So is not an impressive list at all.

It baffles me how so many people haven't made the connection yet. Cotto and de la hoya are both natural southpaws... but switched there stance for whatever reason. Meaning? They have there strongest hand in front for using the jab. Both guys gave floyd a tough fight.. If you have a solid jab you trouble floyd but thats always difficult when you have your weaker hand for it. He was lucky ortiz doesn't throw a jab or else he'd of struggled there too.

My problem with canelo is he starts rounds slow and finishes well, in a fight with floyd he'l lose so many rounds if he does this because floyd will just pot shot him then run in the last min when canelo starts getting a lil stronger in the round.

    It's kind of entertaining though.

Wait, you're citing this list as something positive? Mind you, this is a fighter who calls himself the greatest ever. Now, try to be objective and ask yourself, is this the resume of the 'greatest ever'? It's not even the greatest resume of THIS era.

Define era? No one ranked in the p4p list is better.

  6. There is nobody that is as brutal and dominant of a force as Vitali was though.

Vitali Klitschko in terms of pure h2h abilities is the equalivant of Tommy Hearns with a granite chin. For Floyd to duplicate what Lewis did in tko6.. he have to age another 20 months, get fat, get lazy, lose motivation than fight a 6'3 Tommy Hearns with a granite chin...... dominate the 2nd half of the fight, slice his face up to bone level than tko6 him and retire.

    Noun
A long and distinct period of history with a particular feature or characteristic.

He doesn't have the best resume of this era. It doesn't have to be from the current PFP list.
