So are we decided that Mayweather will be 100% for this fight while Canelo will be about 75-80%?

and i'm sorry if some posters don't like it, but these ****ers deserve it.

The whole source of argument from these guys about how Manny is a hype job is he apparently weight drains his opponents

Here is the difference or why some people poke at Manny for catchweight fights.

    Freddie mother****ing Roach

Freddie has been on video and in interviews stating **** like, "we wanted to make him come down in weight and take a little out of him and give us an advantage."

He has admitted that they wanted to drain fighters and how they wouldn't be the same bc of it and it would give them the advantage.

OK well those are dumb quotes...

Most of the "defending the catchweight" comes in a defense from attackers who are being hypocrites in an effort to show that other people are hypocrites. So... I dunno it's kind of an even split of hypocrisy.

In the debate of catchweights and Floyd/Manny, everybody posts things like:

"Floyd has had 2 fights at the full 154 over the past 6 years. Why does he need this to be at 152? It shows it's a ***** move."

When those same people fail to realize that Manny had a fight at the full 147 limit against Oscar, so theoretically those same people should say to themselves; "Pac just had a fight at the full 147 a year before. Why does Pac/Cotto need to be at 145? It shows it's a ***** move."

Basically the two fan bases are caught up in contradicting how they feel or what they've said in the past. And the two fighters are undeniably linked so naturally it will come up...

I am tired of hearing about the weight. Everybody wishes it was at 154. I don't know why everybody has to talk about it soooo much. I wasn't on ESB in the buildup to Pac/Cotto but I'm guessing the talk of the catchweight sucking didn't happen until after the fight? So it would seem in this case it is people preparing and scrambling for an asterisk they can put next to the fight since they and everybody else wanted this fight all month and nobody thought it would happen.

    This is true.

But at the same time Froch came out and talked about how his strategy was to drain Yusaf Mack from LHW, and that he was "disappointed" that Mack seemed to make the weight healthily after the weigh in.

Everybody gives Froch a pass on the issue.

This is what *****s don't understand. Fraud always wants the upper-hand in any of his fights; he takes care of his "0" as though it is his virgin daughter.

I know but most on the Manny Pac side, aren't saying it because they think it's "wrong" they are saying it because these are the questions Floyd fans have asked of Manny this whole time.

I'd respect the Floyd fans/*****s more if they just stick to there guns and abused there hero for this.

The talk of the weight issue between pac/cotto didn't come about till about a year after the fight.
Everyone was in awe of manny's victory. There was no mention of weight drain by anyone.
Then the floyd fight couldn't be made a couple of times, and the war began, and people started just seeing there was a catchweight there so started to say cotto was weight drained.

But thats just the truth. Maybe he shouldnt say it, but why else is a catchweight put in, if not to do that.

This catchweight is designed to take alittle bit out of Canelo. Or why else would they put it in.

Dude stop taking it so serious. All the catchweight **** was nothing but **** talking to take digs at other posters. Hell Floyd only said **** about Manny as a way of trash talking and making little digs. Weight had nothing to do with Cotto getting his ass whipped by Manny and everyone knows it. It's all just **** talking and every Floyd fan knows it and should admit it.

The only reason I ever said anything regarding Manny and catchweights stems from Roach's comments AS i STATED IN MY PREVIOUS POST.

I can't answer why they put it in. It could be just to dictate a little to Canelo bc he bailed on the undercard for Guerrero fight and headlined his own event. We don't know but I don't think the extra 2 lbs will have any effect on Canelo if he gets busy and he is the one who agreed to it so if its okay for him then so be it.
