Oh so put words in my mouth. That's fine. Like I said you can take it serious all you want but you and I both know that the weight had nothing to do with why Manny dominated Cotto and I have stated that on several threads. My bad I didn't know all the **** talking was so personal and important to you and your life.

when are you going to learn, that if it a catchweight didn't take a little something out of a fighter. Then they wouldn't put one in.

Even if its to make him a little smaller, its to take something out of them.

Its not to teach them a lesson for not being on your undercard

Dont lower yourself to their level. That 2 lbs isn't gonna decide the fight.

If cutting an extra 2lbs is gonna kill Canelo, well then he's too big to be fighting at 154 in the first place, but thats not the case, he's not that big a 154.

Oh really. You asked a question which none of us can answer so I gave an example as to why they could have done it. :patsch

yes we can watch the performance in hindsight, and say, Manny would have won either way.

Put if its as finite as your putting it, then they wouldn't ask for a catchweight.

I have no problem with a catchweight in a fight "WE ALL WANT TO SEE".

Well if you feel you know the answer then why ask the question?

So does ring size, gloves type, venue...all makes a difference to the fighter, doesn't mean we can disregard that fight because both didnt get their optimum terms.

    i've given you the answer.

Its to take a little bit out of the bigger guy to make the fight on a more level playing field

Yep. ^^ This is all it is. 152 is absolutely fair, but no one like hypocrites and contradictions.

I have no problem with it too.

Its just funny ripping all these posters, who used to say catchweights were for draining fighters, and now that floyd is doing it, they're coming up with all these reassons why its differant in this case

I'm not disregarding the fight. I've said 3 or 4 times on this thread alone, I have no problem with a catchweight, and i'm looking forward to the fight.

I'm just making fun of the people on this forum who are trying to come up with a load of reasons to justify why this catchweight is happening to save face.
