Why did Vits not fight these top 10 fighters?

    Why did Vittles never fight these top 10 fighters when they were actually top 10 fighters?

    Toney
    Jones
    Barrett

    There are 28 top fighters here Vits didn't fight for one reason or another. Why did he skip out on fighting so many of the best?

    Because he can't fight every top 10 opponent at every given moment.

    And if he had beaten some of those guys, new guys would take their place in the ranking, and then he'd have to fight those guys. He'd be fighting once every three weeks and there would still always be nearly the exact same number of top 10 guys he didn't fight.

    Also because little brother took care of a fair share of them.

    Little bro taking care of many is not a valid excuse and neither is "new guys would have taken their place", my friend. We both know fighters don't always fall from the top 10 after a loss. The point is their are more than 2 dozen names on that list and Vittles only tried to make 3 fights (Haye, Valuev, Rahman) only to have them fall apart for one reason or another.

    True. But he also did face top 10 opponents.

    You do realize you could make a list like this for any fighter who has had a career as long as Vitali, right?

    These are just the top 10 fighters ranked by "The Ring", be thankful I didn't bother digging up everyone from the 4 major orgs. Point is he didn't fight these guys. You can twist whatever you want how ever you want, you can't change this fact though. There are 25 names he never Eben tried to negotiate with. Seems pretty odd.

    In contrast, Lennox Lewis missed 18 fighters but fought the very best of his generation as well as ATG's and hall of gamers. This does not include the year he retired, but it does include Riddick Bowe who ducked him. So actually its 17 fighters in a span of more years actually spent fighting than Vittles.

    Probably due to actually fighting 28 top 10 fighters would take a good decade at least to fight. You know, the basic reasons.

    Isn't it obvious...K2 only fight the bottom feeders.

    Vitali is pricing himself out of the Stirvine fight and Wlad will duck Povektin.

    Its time for a real rain to come and wash these clowns away for good.

    Could be some thing to do with the FOUR YEARS on inactivity.

    Could also be the fact that thisn isnt the 40s and guys dont fight 10 times a year.

    He did retire for four years because the shoulder injury from the Byrd fight never properly healed up. If the OP had half a brain he might know that fact.
