I don't think he'd name himself 'sweet willy'. First of all, a 'willy' is what little boys have, and calling yourself 'sweet' couldnt be any more feminine.

No. They are THAT evil, and have been since boxing had 17 weight classes.

Like I said before, you might as well just do away with weight classes altogether. The ONLY reason they exist nowadays is to accommodate the universally useless belts of the governing bodies. Fact.

Fair enough. As I've said in my edited post, I totally understand your legit reasons for hating them.

But a fight between 2 champs at the same weight is hardly ever fought at a CW. There's the DLH one, but he was really a joke of a champ at MW. You'd hope Floyd's 2x title is more legit than that travesty

    :good

Whitaker vs Chazes fought at a catchweight. 2 of the greatest fighters of all time.

So surely they can't be all bad.

That's one more than Floyd. If he wins and decides to defend his lineal 154 title, they'll be tied.

But get this: just with this one fight, he'll have had more CW titles that Pac careerwise. That's an awesome achievement, I doubt anyone has ever gone for that many CW titles at once, not even close. Truly a CW King.

    1. Mayweather will weigh around 150lbs on fight night, Alvarez at 172lbs - a huge weight advantage. It's not like fighting Cotto or De La Hoya who were at the lower weights for a lot of time, and their prime weights were at the lower weights.

    2. Alvarez weighed 153lbs in his last fight. This is just 1lb more than his fight with the much smaller man than his last opposition.

    3. Floyd needs to beat Golovkin, Ward, maybe Haye TO BE GOAT.

Oh, and to those that criticise Pacquiao's catchweights because his camp admits to trying to drain opponent's, whilst Mayweather's camp doesn't admit to it (as if that's somehow better :conf), here's what Canelo's trainer said:

"We had to give up some weight, but we are confident that everything will be fine. Those two pounds that we're sacrificing was a condition to get the Mayweather fight. He wanted 150 pounds and we requested 152, and I think in the end we did well."

"If we did not give up those two pounds, he wouldn't fight. Besides, Mayweather wanted to fight at 147, then 150. Fortunately, Richard Schaefer is a great negotiator. Everyone did their part to get this achieved."

The above also smashes the ******ed claim that this catchweight was requested by Canelo. He didn't request ****. He wanted it to be at 154. Mayweather forced him to budge down to 152.

but why when they beat him easily anyway.

Apparently no one at 154 will be ably to beat floyd :nut

Well i guess we'll never know

Lol. Some gold here. I especially like Buckdacious: "152 will help Canelo get in the best shape of his life". Shout out to Small Sweet D Willy: "Floyd is also cutting 2lbs cause he's a natural 154lb fighter". The first one simply kicks ass though.
