Mayweather fans make it sound like it was Mayweather that really wanted the fight @ 152 in the first place but 147 was the starting weight then 150... and both agreed @ 152.

If that's really true, and I don't believe it one second, then we can just handle the fight on paper by giving Floyd a TKO win for Saul passing out in his corner in the first half of the bout.

But like I said, I don't believe it for a second. Because Alvarez would never agree to such a ridiculous demand.

I hope so, otherwise it would be huge dissapointmant and a meaningless fight. we saw in ward-dawson what dyhardation can do to you. i mean ward fought the perfect fight, respect for that, but dawson seemed with 0 power. i mean compared to the light heavyweight dawson, it was a difference like a young boy getting wrecked by his dad.

Floyd, by enforcing a catchweight, has indeed shot himself in the foot and has once again proved himself to carefully select circumstances which he can take advantage of. But listen, there is no rehydration limit. Lennie said so. Canelo can go back up to whatever he wants.

Don't worry, man. Dawson was dropping a whole weight division (7 pounds). Canelo's only doing 2.

That's complete BS because Canelo couldn't do it even if he didn't care about how he performs in the fight he would end up in hospital with kidney failure. Don't believe anything you hear

You realise that Pacquiao fought Margarito at a catchweight?

More importantly, weird coincidence I always noticed, Skip and Kenny have the same last name.

    Same grandfather?

Yeah, but with no rehydration clause.

The OP is just worried there's one for this fight.

The big deal is that Floyd is a massive hypocrite for asking for a catchweight. How this simple piece of logic escapes you explains why you are a welfare recipient and a Floyd Mayweather fan.

Except this is bull****. They'd have a same day weigh in if that was the case. How else would they police this?
