This forum is getting more ridiculous as each day goes by.

    Seriously, what the ****?

No commission or promoter would ever put their name to a rehydration clause. Never!

Same day weigh ins were outlawed for the fighters safety.

Nobody can cap someone's natural rehydration weight.

What if they rehydrated healthily, but then found they were over the agreed weight etc?

    It won't ever happen.

For the TS, the only way Canelo could walk into the ring at 152, is if he didn't rehydrate at ALL. No food, no water etc. It's just laughable.

And to that ***** Leonard Ellerbe, if it doesn't matter to you if Canelo weighs 200 pounds, then why the ****ing catchweight in the first place?

The whole money team are just a bunch of jokers! I hope the ginge knocks him the **** out!

It simply comes down to performance in the ring. Cotto just didn't seem strong in the fight. Pac seemed stronger then Cotto on fight night.

If Canelo looks weak on fight night and gets tossed around by Mayweather then Mayweather will get criticized for draining him as obviously cutting weight is the reason why he looked weak. If Canelo looks strong takes Mayweather's punches well and his punches still look powerful but gets purely out boxed. Then obviously the weight didn't mean anything.

I saw the same thing on First Take. Skip and Stephen A. were both saying some stupid ****. Stephen A. said that Mayweather's camp (which is believeable) said that Canelo requested the fight be catchweight. Later, Skip corrected him by pointing out that the ESPN insider wrote that Mayweather asked for catchweight. Skip then talked about the fact that Canelo has to stay at 152 till fight night, and then Stephen A. corrected him by saying a catchweight don't mean that.

The worst thing about this, is the *****s who bashed Pac for fighting Margarito at a catch weight but then were saying Canelo is to big for Floyd. I would say the size difference between Margarito/Pac is greater then Floyd/Canelo. Floyd still has height and reach on his side.

They constantly asked how Pac could win a 154lb title fighting at 150lbs against Margarito. Pac even gave up the title and said 150 was to big for him. Floyd fights 2 fights at 154lbs, is a champion their, and goes on and on how he doesn't drain fighters. *****s ate that **** up, were praising Floyd for it. A year later, Floyd is having a 154lb unification fight at....gasp...152lbs. The *****s just don't know how to take it and are talking out of their ass.

Oh look. Another excuse. Cotto was weakened from having to lose 1 extra pound from his previous weigh-in just like Canelo will have to do. Of course, because Cotto lost he looked week.

even if this was somehow true, nobody held a gun to Canelos head

he didn't have to take the fight.

surely if it was true, the bout wouldn't go ahead anyway as it would be too dangerous
