Cleverly v froch @ SMW

If Eddie can make it on Sky, without ****** anywhere near it, he'll jump at this.

Easy win for Froch in my opinion.

 

Cleverly looks good at LHW though, and he's really lean as it is. I think losing 7lbs would be hard.

 

Yes.Would have thought it was virtually impossible to get down and still be strong.Look what happened to Dawson.Difference is,I think Ward would even have beaten him at light heavy,but if Carl moved up to fight Cleverly it would be a move too far.

 

Froch would walk through him and destroy him, pattercake hasnt got the power to keep him off.

 

No doubt it would be a war. But Cleverly to make SM would kill him and doubt he could get down another 7lbs without being dry and dead at the weight. Clev hasn't got any power at 175 so if he's weak and dead, then he'll have no chance as Carl would walk straight through him and stop Cleverly around 7

 

Agree about the outcomes but do you think he's serious about Nathan moving down?Also agree that it could happen,but maybe it'll have to be 2014.They probably can't afford to get Ward over here,won't go back to the US.Groves and Degales handlers might consider other options than Froch,too dangerous at the moment,which might push him into moving up.Not sure I believe all this about him being too small.Anyway,IMO he'd lose to Cleverly who'd be younger AND bigger.

 

Cleverly's profile needs to be bigger, very few know who he is.

This is a fight where a catch weight would be ideal, Clev would be drained at 168 and Froch too small at 175.

172 would be fair. It's still marketable with Clevs unbeaten record and World title, just wish Clev had a name on his record, over two years ago he was supposed to fight Braehmer, all the time that has passed since and he's fought nobody at that level.

 

Froch would destroy Cleverly at either weight. This is a man who was pushed life and death by Tony Bellew!

Bellew was good that night and I agree it was his best performance, but he's not on the level of a Carl Froch.

Cleverly hasn't beaten or even fought anyone to suggest he could even be competitive with Froch IMO. He hasn't even fought a world level fighter yet.

 

Clev is the new Enzo Mac for Frank. as soon as he is exposed to someone (like enzo was to Haye) in a "superfight", he'll go on a losing run.

 

Would love to see Froch smash him to pieces. Vince is a gobshite and a grass and his son is a fake.
