well wtf did he expect? when you go and buy a house do you offer what the seller is asking?

if canelo accepted 152 more power to Floyd.

152 or 154...not going to matter.

floyds going to win so decisively where they will suspend every judge(lara/Williams) if canelo gets gifted a decision.

and ill bet any pink cocksucking canelo nuthugger a lifetime esb ban bet that alvarez loses to Floyd.

Re: Floyd-Canelo will start a new lineage at 154
Technically Alvarez is already the lineal champ...

But this will confirm it for anyone who didn't recognize the Trout/Canelo winner as lineal.

The catchweight really sucks, but it still is a legitimite lineal title, as Junior Middleweight has a MAXIMUM of 154 pounds, not a minimum requirement. If they wanted to weigh in at 145 it would still be for the lineal title at JMW."

That's a new one. Pac should never have been considered a 154lb champion because he fought at a CW of 150lbs. But now Mayweather and Canelo could be at 145lbs and it would still be for the lineal JMW title.

Would rather it just be at 154 but honestly, outside of the little girls on this site, everyone knows it won't make a difference.

    a little.

I prefered 154 cos that was a 50/50 fight, this not so much, but still very excited.

Its worth it for all the **** we get to five floyds fans and all the back peddling.

I mean its always gonna be an asterisk on the fight for a lot of people but im fine with it. I dont think Canelo will struggle that much.

People who are upset over this catchweight are just emotional bitches. If Canelo is cool with it then game on and may the best man win.

Fake ass disappointment by guys like banny.

"Oh its a great fight and glad Floyd is fighting him but the catchweight leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

Since this fight has been announced we have heard it all from haters or tards.

    He's too green

Floyd should have waited to fight Canelo even though Floyd is 36

    Canelo has never fought anybody

    He is a cherry pick

    Catchweight

All excuses for when Floyd wins.

Somewhat. 152 is better than 147 or 150, but it does make Floyd a hypocrite. He talked all that **** about not doing catchweight fights and not draining his opponents and now he is doing that very thing. It would be one thing if he had never fought at jr. middleweight before, but as we all know, he fought at 154 as far back as 2007 and then again in 2012. Now for Canelo, he needs a catchweight. For the record, I think Floyd would win if the fight were at 154.

The only reason he was so open to fighting Cotto at 154 was because he didnt expect much from Cotto . Just like Floyd said after Manny destroyed Cotto " Miguel has been in a lot of wars , hes not the same fighter he once was " Cotto was past his best , Floyd knew this and thought he was just going to go in there and use his superior speed to outbox Miguel in an easy fight . He was severly mistaken , He was in a FIGHT and was forced to drink his own blood . Now hes looks at this young kid whos nowhere near faded , Physically a lot Stronger than Cotto , Decent skills , a True Heavy 154 pounder and sees a threat .

You don't know that for sure. Even Canelo won't know until it's close to the weigh-in. He's had difficulty making 154 so asking him to drain those extra 2 lbs might affect him negatively.

Voted somewhat, to be honest that somewhat is very little.

Loving this fight and think Canelo has a good chance.
