People in denial about Gasnelo's crap stamina remind me of Khan's fans, the ones who insists he doesn't have the worst chin for a world class fighter.

His workrate decreased after about round 7 of the trout fight. I think he only won 1 round after that.

Actually, he did a lot of running in the 12th round. Not very becoming of a Mexican fighter. I just watched the fight

Thats what I am saying, I mean the way he fights when he explodes with shots that takes energy out of you when your putting power on most of your shots like that.

Most boxers tend to take power off of their shots and set one maybe one or two solid shots in the series of punches this allows them to have a higher work rate and sort of blind their opponent with the soft shot while threading through the hard shot.

Canelo has a different style he tends to put power on most of his shots, so of course he is going to have to get air when he is done throwing his shots.

However I have never seen him fade in a fight, if your talking the Trout fight again I ask where cus I just dont see it he fought the full 12 and had the same power on his shots in the end of the fight as he did when he started out the fight.

if its because he doesnt throw for 3 mins straight well you have to show me a fighter that does... I dont get where this theory comes from.

I did not see that at all and I had only given Trout 3 or 4 rounds max, so officially and un officially my score and the judges scores do not back up your argument

He had the fight won in the bag why risk walking into a stupid shot?

    :deal

I personally think its his style. He lulls you to sleep as an opponent and he appears to be "punched out" "tired" "having stamina issues" but he's NOT.

And this is how you get yo ass popped by his combinations because you become the aggressor thinking he is "tired".

He did this in the Mosley fight to great effect and the Trout fight, he'll do it in the Mayweather fight.

Exactly and knowing that he has been pushing for a Floyd fight and having a common promoter perhaps in spots Canelo didnt show too much in that fight I mean I imagine had Canelo just gone in there and spanked the **** out of Trout we wouldnt be seeing this Mayweather fight next.

its very possible to me anyways that once Canelo established Control in that fight he fought at a pace that would not only win him the fight but give Floyd enough confidence to take a fight with him you never know.

In my opinion he's not a "Mexican fighter" he doesn't fight like them. He is a slick boxer-puncher. He won't come forward all night.

maybe because every punch he throws he throws to knock you out, takes alot out of you.

:yep and I highlited this stamina issue even before the Trout fight and said Trout was going to expose it with his high workrate, movement and jab.

Lets just assume this stamina issue does exist, Floyd often especially late in fights winds up on the back foot moving away from you throwing one shot at a time.

is that going to be enough to take advantage of someone with stamina issues? I doubt it.... But again I just do not see these stamina issues what I see is a kid who knows how to pace himself and how to fight smart in there.

Hit and dont get hit right?:think

trout outlanded alvarez by twice as many shots in five of the 12 rounds and outthrew canelito by some 200+punches.

youre love for the pink **** is borderline obnoxious.

weve both been on the forum for about the same amount of years. since I know what im talking about, and I think that you clearly don't, how about you and I do a lifetime esb ban bet and you can take the great canelito and ill take Floyd?

    what do you think?

because I can safely say that I am among many here that's tired of your canelo bull****.

now back up your mouth with your monicker. because if you don't everyone here will know that youre just talking out of your ass which any knowledgeable fight fan already knows.

Here we go bringing up those ever so accurate punch stats, Trouts pitty pat meaningless in effective shots do not take the type of energy the thudding knock you on your ass shots that Canelo throws.

it takes more out of you to throw hard shots like that than to putty pat with your shots so of course Trout may wind up throwing more punches but the key in scoring is effectiveness and Canelos were much more effective than Trouts.

and your tired of my Canelo bull****? you acting like your Archie Solis **** you punk deal with it.... :hi:

Its a combination of him cutting so much weight, combined with his genetics probably.

Not everyone can have god like Stamina.
