I had no problems with Pac for the catch weight fight with Margo. I didn't like the fact the belts were on the line but other than that fair play, Margo dwarfed Pac in the ring. However, I didn't like his catch weight fight with Cotto because Cotto was having trouble making 147 and was forced to come down more.

but but he was only 146 his last fight.

Yeah and he almost lost the damned fight if it wasn't for a jab KD.

It'll have an impact, but won't be the deciding factor in the fight.

If Canelo is smart, he was already dieting properly and keeping his weight down to make it easier. In the end, he should still outweigh Mayweather by 16-20 pounds I would think.

Simple reality is if it would not make a difference the fight would be at 154.

We can make excuses all we want but that is the simple reality.
Floyd would not demand a catch weight if it did not give him a advantage.

Thats a god damn lie Cotto weighed in at 146 for his fight with Clottey one fight before the Pac fight Cotto wasnt having trouble making weight he was having trouble staying disciplined there is a big difference you know allot of fighters move up not because they are having trouble with weight but because they simply are too ****ing lazy to do what needs to be done to make the weight

I agree, he did agree and didn't have to.. But I still don't like the titles on the line for it.. Floyd deserves criticism after what he's said about catch weights, even if Canelo did offer one first. But it's terrible that the catch weight will be the main topic up until, and after the fight, instead of the fight itself.

If it materializes a superfight shouldn't all fighters get one catchweight pass?! My only problem with catchweight fights is when a fighter continues to use it repeatedly because then he's draining guys rather making an honest effort to give fans fights they want to see. At this point both floyd and Canelo made a sacrifice to give us a treat and we should be grateful. Now if either Floyd or Canelo continue to use cw fights in the future then fire away.

Your simply connecting two ***** arguments to suit your agenda, 1st show me where Canelo gassed in that fight with Trout.

2nd the catch weight deal is a non issue, the moment a fighter signs no excuses.

reality is you simply want to rub their hypocracy in their face fine do so but try doing so with out making up a bunch of garbage to suit what your saying.

you dont like their inconsistencies I can dig it they are hypocrites, but the point here in reality Floyd didnt have to take this fight, Floyd could have coasted out the rest of his contract at 147.

But rather than to do that Floyd took this fight and yes its at 152, but against a kid who will have no trouble cutting down to 152, its not like he brought Canelo down an entire division as Pac did for his fight with DLH...

How do we look like hypocrites? I cannot control what Floyd does. I didn't like when Pac had catchweights and I don't like when Floyd does it either. But Pac had done it three times (2 times to "win" a title) before this while Floyd had done it once.

And since when did Bazooka become a decent poster?

The man cuts over 20lbs to weigh in, now he has to do over 22lbs , for one reason- to weaken him

    You know this

    I know this

    Floyd knows this

    that's why he did it.

He also has pointed out in the past , that its not a real victory in doing so.

This is what FLOYD has said.

I'm just agreeing with the man.

    Drain em

the fight itself is good and should be competitive but what's pathetic right now is that a lot of the *****s/pachaters that have crucified and ridiculed pac about his catchweight fights are now in favor of floyd doing it.
