    It would be a weird piece of matchmaking if this comes off, not your usual Dean Powell tripe. with Cleverly's face first defence this could be a disaster for the lad.

    I'm all for this fight.

    If its now Shumenov, that is still a tough fight and i'll be happy with either fight.

    Can Cleverly fight Kovalev although Brähmer is mandatory? I think it is Shumenov then.

    I actually dont know as much about boxing as many on here but I know enough to know that pigs will fly before we see Cleverly fighting Kovalev in his next fight.

    One of Kovalevs opponents apparently died from injuries sustained while fighting him. Very sad.

    Shumenov is the WBC champ. Kovalev is a nobody with big risk.

    It is most likely a unification fight with Shumenov.

    Cleverly will make **** of him.

    Kovalev is hardly a nobody. His last fight got 5million viewers and he is 24-0 with 22 KO's

    It has to be Shumenov and Cleverly has a very good chance to win.

    Well he is compared to a champion. It would make no sense at all to fight Kovalev! Who himslef even has a final eliminatior fight coming up. It has to be Shumenov.
