got a gift decision in his last fight. It was hard to watch as a fan of his. He won't be back till next year. I believe he got some additional injuries?

Yeah I think he is done on the top level, his body is too worn down to get on 100% via training camp plus he lost much of his speed and his reflexes recently. Hope he is not stupid enough to fight some of the MW dudes who are competing for his top spot, I guess he would be sparked by Quillin and GGG right now and would lose on points to Geale.

Yeah, he's done. He looked like **** against a handpicked nobody like Murray and he'll be 39yo when he comes back, his style isn't suited for an old man and it's too late to change it

The fight with Chavez ruined him big time. Relish that fight because you wont see that Sergio ever again

The Murray fight in his hometown was Boxing's gift. He got the W, now fade into the sunset. Martinez is one of my favorite fighters, it's a shame he came to the dance late in his life.

Unfortunately, yes. He's done as a pound-for-pound talent.

It was fun while it lasted.

He should pack it up and retire.

I'll wait till he actually loses till I say he's done; fighters are still human and can have off nights. Better to have tried than not try at all

I definitely think Sergio deserved the decision, but to answer the OP's question, yes! He looked pretty damn bad. His style relies on reflexes and his reflexes were ****. I love Sergio, but he is past it.

    that's a fade.

I like Sergio and hes been great for the sport but I cant wait to bet against this guy.

Stick a fork in him; he's done. He's going to be facing Chavez Jr. in a rematch; I'm predicting utter destruction and then retire. At least he'll cash out with Chavez Jr.

He was getting tagged repeatedly in the Dzin and Barker fight before the KO's, I'll hold off before writing him off. Usually it's not a Martinez fight if he doesn't get KD

tore out his knee, staples in his head and stitches on his eye and lip.

I actually ran into a couple of dumb-****s here in mexico the other day that thought canelo would beat chavez.

I had to tell them that canelito is 5'7' and chavez is a 6'0 and they didn't believe me.

people are going to be amazed how easy Floyd is going to abuse this b-level fighter.
