So which was the better victory and which mattered more when it happened. Kessler's victory in the first fight? Froch's victory in the second fight? Who wins the rubber match?
So why do you think Kessler's first win was more important? I personally think they were fresher and it helped establish the 168 rankings at that time for ultimate supremacy.
two close fights I think both were in better shape better at the second fight don't know which matters more. Froch would win another close war on point if they fight again this year. Kessler need's 1 or 2 more easy fight next. a third fight should happen autumn 2014
I had Froch winning the first fight. The second time he made it emphatically clear who the better man is. I'll go with #2.
Yeah, I would like to hear from more Froch fans because I think he's got the hype going for him right now. But I can respect both perspectives, Froch and Kessler fans alike. I think this was a balanced comment. Do you think home town favoritism played a part in both fights? I think they were both close fights. I think the third fight being in Germany would be more neutral, bring in both fan bases, and still make big bucks.
First fight was more important, they were fresher and in their absolute prime. Both are now in their mid 30s.
I thought Kessler was the better fighter in both fights... but I can respect a Froch win in #2.. He was just so active!
It's close at the moment probably Froch. If there is a third fight probably the winner of that fight. Kessler insn't anymore as good as the was around 2005-2007 while Froch looked at his best at the moment Froch fought the better opponents while Kessler fights at the top of the division for 9 years now. Froch is only 4 years at the top now if he can go on for 2 or 3 years its Froch for sure
Try watching No 1 again without the B.S. commentary - and try paying attention to how few of Froch's punches actually land.
The first fight, because both were fresher. Froch has improved, but everyone has been saying that Kessler was shot for 6 years now...
