But Lewis fought Mercer around the same time Wlad fought Williamson(time line comparison) Did you even see the Williamson fight? Wlad was knocked down and clearly looked tentative. I thought he was on the verge of another freak out until the lucky cut.

A guy who FLAT OUT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH to beat Sanders or Brewster is going to suffer multiple looses against Lewis run of opponents. Bruno at his best would out jab and KO Wlad.

The simple fact of the matter is that Wlad, whilst being decent, is no where near as good as his deluded fans think he his.

But don't you feel stupid now that he's corrected those problems? Does that make you feel ignorant for writing him off? You should............

He hasn't been knocked down in how many fights? He hasn't lost in how many? Feel ******ed yet? :yep

Well you said Wlad would struggle with Mercer and I disagree because Wladimir is and always was a textbook boxer, at least offensively. He wouldn't stand toe to toe with Mercer & slug it out on Ray's terms like Lewis tried to do. Lewis was more of a brawler at times because he let his ego get in the way. Wlad was never really that type of fighter, to fight down to the level of the opposition. Not to bust on Mercer's skill set BTW, he was solid, but not an especially quick or especially skilled. Just very solid all around & he had a great chin, which served him well against big punching Tommy Morrison. He merely waited out the The Duke and landed his punches when Tommy shot his load.

It would not be good for Wlad, he would not even be a footnote in boxing history

Not the way normal folks saw the fight at all. TOS was running the whole time since that his strategy, he admitted. Y'know, to wait until the later rounds. Wlad was pursuing and TOS was running, and TOS landed a nice counter that caught Wlad off balance. In fact Wlad jumped right up and continued to chase TOS around for the rest of the round. If it wasn't for the cut Wladmir would've knocked Williamson out sooner or later as he was starting to land his jab consistently. It was only a matter of time until he followed with a big right hand.

Bruno's jab isn't even close to the level of Wlad's, this post almost doesn't warrant a serious reply.

Wlad also beat the fight outta Brewster in the rematch, just like he was doing in the first fight before he had a blood sugar episode. Saying "He wasn't good enough to beat Brewstyer" shows you haven't seen either fight.

Just another undefeated KO on Wlad's resumé is all............

How many folks remember Mavrovic? Oliver McCall never beat anybody of note except Lennox Lewis..........same for Rahman. Well McCall did beat Maskaev but that hardly counts.

even his own brother said he should quit at one point.

He has come back well but in a weak era

So what he was undefeated and not ko'd? Same applies to Freddie Flintoff
