Ok.. how the hell was fury awarded a knockout over cunningham?

He got the TKO because he was going to knock him out any way.

You know what, just give Mayweather the UD over Canelo now, since Mayweather is going to win by UD anyway. While we're at it, let's give Pacquiao the TKO victory over Brandon Rios, since we all know that is the highest possible result of the fight.

What else, help me out here.

Fury didn't do it to "keep Cunningham away." How ridiculous. It was a blatantly illegal move, by a big bumbling fool with no real skill.

Was Cunningham hurt badly from the body shot? Sure. So what? Lots of fighters have recovered from worse.
It should have been a DQ.

 

If you follow the sport then you will know that illegal moves can also be smart moves. It's called dirty fighting if you're new to this. If you don't get penalised for it, then its smart to do it. That is a winner's mentality. You come across as though you're on some boxing police mentality. A fighter's job is to win, and the referee's job is to referee, surprising as that may be.

 

you might as well ask why didn't Lewis get DQ'd for holding Grant's head and uppercutting him to the canvas? stuff like this in boxing, the ref can't possibly see every single foul when boxers collide

 

Fury is a dirty fighter in every sense of the word. In literally every fight he is constantly blowing his nose on his gloves during rounds and then aiming the resultant mix of snot and sweat toward the face and eyes of his opponent. Given that the guy smells like pig-**** and Brut on a good day this is a horrible proposition for anyone who signs to fight the lumbering idiot.

Win, lose or draw at some point you are getting a face full of Fury's snot, unless he knocks himself out first of course.

Seriously though, watch his fights with the above in mind - it's more aggravating than Broner's grunting!**

Now hold on a second here. I had no dog in that fight. I really don't mind Fury at all but had no vested interest in either guy -- hence why it's my first time watching the fight in over a month. But to say that fury's elbow before he threw the hook wasn't totally ****ing blatant and obstructing cunningham's vision before the hook landed is ridiculous. The first shove is to push cunningham back off him to create space (fine), the second one is literally him pushing his elbow into cunningham's face.

 

He had to cheat the short fellow.

Fury is a bum, a complete ****ing bum. I can't wait to see him flattened, Haye should do it in style.

Boxing is a rough business this happens all the time, sure its not pretty and not perfectly legal but thats boxing for you

 

I was surprised as you were but it just seemed like nobody gave a **** and were more amused by Furys singing after the fight.
