    Bowe - Golota II

    Cockell - Marciano

    Stewart/Morrison - Foreman

    Frazier - Quarry

    Louis - Braddock

    Holmes - Ali

IMO all of these were worse, they were a long sustained massacre over fighters who had too much heart and balls for their own good. I've seen all of Baer v Carnera and there is a large portion of the fight were Baer is doing not much at all.

Primo Canera broke his ankle in one of early knockdowns, I think the first one. he fought rest of fight trying to stand with most of weight supported by one leg.

Foreman v Frazier I was the most signifigant. A world champion only SLIGHTLY passed his best being tottaly dismantled.

The winner was never in doubt beforehand and it's not on the same scale as the others mentioned in terms of a 'big fight', but recently Klitschko vs Wach was a pretty severe beatdown.

this answer is pure trash. frazier vs quarry was the fight of the year because it was competitive,of course that both men took punishment(quarry more than joe) but hardly it was a 1 sided beating. and mentioning morrison vs foreman at one of the biggest beatings in the history is just laughable
braddock vs louis one of the biggest beatings? a shot ali with parkinson vs holmes? like i said. trash comment

ellis vs frazier was not a massacre, it was a clean ko with left hooks.. yes... it was great but the knock downs of baer over carnera were much more savage and brutal.
and carnera never was competitive against baer it is absurd. in a few comments later you will argue that carnera won the fight

I NEVER said these are some of the biggest beatings in history I said they were worse than Baer v Carnera which they are. Baer landed very few flush good shots on Carnera alot of the knockdowns were when they were wrestling/Baer slinging Carnera to the ground, keep in mind that Carnera was an enourmous fellow and had just broke one of his ankles. Also I never said that Quarry v Frazier was a 1 sided beating again just said it was worse than the beating that Baer gave Carnera which gets blown out of proportion due to highlights of the first round where Baer is chasing him around the ring. Also Tommy Morrison is one of the hardest punchers ever, harder than Baer of which I'm sure, and he was consistenly landed heavy flush punches and combinations on Foreman over 12 rounds. If Carnera took the same punishment he would be out in about 3 rounds. Hence it being a bigger beating.

Also you never made this an open question like "What do you think is the biggest beating in HW history" you're just stating your opinion like I am mine and there is no specified criteria so yes a shot Ali with Parkinsons took much more of a beating than Carnera. I don't think you've even seen the fight or the Carnera fight, maybe watch the whole thing instead of 1 minute highlights. Also Braddock took a terrible beating from Louis I've never seen Louis so many right hands on a guy. If you've seen the fight (you havn't) you'd know he took alot of punishment. His face was a complete mess where as Carnera barely had a mark on him.

Tyson v biggs was a real beat down. Although not a title fight i think Norton v Quarry was a bad beating. Schmeling v Louis was a real massacre. So many bad beatings that were much worse than Baer v Carnera....

Heavy hands, fess up! You cant have seen Baer v Carnera full rounds. Its embarrassing that you pretend to have seen them. The highlights make it look like a massacre and only people who know only of them think it was. "The harder they fall" was a movie. The full rounds are out there. Dont let yourself fall in love with the myth at the expense of the truth.
