He took some heavy bombs from Lamont/Maidana/Judah and still remained standing. Even shook some of it off.

His punch resistance isn't as bad as people make it out to be

    I'd rate it a 6.5/10 (Amir's chin)

It's actually quite good. He just got hit in the wrong spots against Prescott/Danny/Diaz

I still believe he can be an ELITE fighter.

Its pretty bad for a world class boxer bro

I think if the barrera fight hadent been waved off due to the cut an old shot barrera woulda found the shot

Nah. Amir was too good that night.

I still think his chin can last in the elite levels.

I still think he can be a top boxer someday.

What about Drilzdane, Limond and Gomez? They were all cannon fodder to make Khan look good on terrestrial TV. His chin is appalling.

I agree, Amir was too good that night and Barrera was too small a guy.

Amir's chin wasn't bad. The shot by Prescott was a complete bulldozer that everyone will fall victim to.
Now I think he's no longer in his chin prime...he only won by 1 round against Julio Diaz. He was getting seriously beat down in that fight.

you mean Amir Khan? He's old news - no1 cares about his or his lousy chin. He had his chances, he spent them. I really wish he would get his face off boxing.

his chin is very strong actually, he just doesn't always know how to take a shot. he puts himself in position at times where he is vulnerable to a sneaky hard counter shot. he actaully tries to be an entertainer and gets himself in trouble. but as far as his vulnerability to counter punches, it varies from fight to fight. Against Maidana, and Peterson, and Judah, he seemed to have no problem rolling with most punches and staying out of harms way. But vs Prescott, Garcia, even Diaz a little bit he kinda got stuck in that no-mans land trying to win rounds convincingly and staying in the pocket of the other fighter.

a lot of it has to do with his body type and his inibility to have fluid footwork. He's got fast hands, but only average footwork. He goes on his bike a lot, but as you can tell it's plodding footwork at times and he doesn't always have his feet under him when he gets hit. that's his biggest problem, but the guy has all the potential in the world. he's a terrific fighter who has had a fantastic career. not perfect, but every Khan fight is always edge of your seat stuff.

His problem imo are his legs. They tend to let him down. Under Ariza his legs recovered fast.

Theres a big list of rules somewhere about what can/ cannot be said on this site.

Complimenting Amir Khan in pretty much any way, be it, on something inside/outside the ring, is frowned upon.

Saying he has a good chin in punishable by banishment I believe.

The hate for Khan is off all known scales.
