Razor Ruddock by late rounds stoppage..

    Probably via the left hook..

**** i remember the left hook he took from Morrison and somehow got up..

Ruddock the poor ******* was around in a tough period for the heavies.

If around now probably would of won a portion of the world championship.

Berbick at his best could take a helluva shot. I think he probably had enough to win a close decision over Ruddock.

Hard fight to call. I'd go with Berbcik on points too, with Ruddock producing a few dramatic moments along the way.

I would have to go with Trevor Berbick. In some 60 fights, Trevor was only stopped twice, once coming in only his 11th pro fight and again against, a peak Tyson. Throughout his career, Berbick showed a good blend of power, durability and boxing ability. He beat prime versions of Tate, Page, Thomas, Green, Bey and a few others, whereas Ruddock mainly feasted on aging foes. I go with Berbick by a close decision.

After thinking this one over, I went for Ruddock. This would be a very interesting matchup. A real toughie to call.

Despite behind on the cards I think a peak Ruddock would have enough to pull off a late stoppage due to accumulation. Berbick at his best was a durable fighter, however I think he'd get tagged too often down the stretch for me to make him favourite. Ruddock's power (especially The Smash") was utterly chilling. :yep

I think Trevor pulls off a close one over ol' Donovan.I think he would outwork him, since him trying to maul Razor isn't happening.

In say 84.. i'd say Trevor would batter Ruddock he had the best chin and could bang too, he had very fast hands.. Ruddock wasn't classy enough to outbox Berbick..

Berbick at his best still got put down by Snipes, who probably wasnt as powerful as Ruddock. He was also there to be hit, so Ruddock knocks him out at some point.

well people forget that ruddock was a boxer in his early career and used his jab and move style to win...but then when he landed left uppercuts boom they went down..sadly it was later in his career that he found this out and was neither a boxer nor a puncher when he fought the best figthers.

This is a tough one to call but I think I will pick Berbick.

Razor had very good power though not on the same level as Tyson. And you need Tyson's power at its peak to put away Trevor. So the fight is likely to go the full distance though Ruddock will test Berbick's chin along the way. Berbick was a strong guy who liked to work away throughout the course of a fight. He is the one more likey to get the decision at the end.

I think eventually Ruddock's "smash" would get ol' Trev'. Ruddock by late stoppage.

Razor would probably hurt Trevor a couple of times, and in his prime, beats him by a wide decision.Nullifying the Berbick strength factor, and not having to worry about Berbick hurting him, Razor takes control early, and never gives it up.

a 81 berbick would beat the overrated bum with left hook,by decision.

actually ruddock did hit harder than tyson shot for shot, simply tyson was the better puncher, in the test of the punchers of the late 80s ruddock did hit harder than tyson. just like foreman and bruno
