So it's credible if it sounds like he's trying to get out of a fight with Ward, but just talk if he says he wants to fight him?

You're really one to be talking about credibility Irish. This isn't the first time I've caught you out today.
This Froch victory and subsequent events have brought out a bad side in you.

Atlantic City is a "road fight" (his own words) for Ward.
Wouldn't Vegas be a bit too far East for Ward?

Ward doesn't want to travel to Vegas or anywhere cause he has no sky miles.

Has Hearns tried to make this fight anywhere?

If not, this is all just talk.

of course right now it's talk, after all, ward's still out injured.

you're the one presenting conjecture as if it's fact.

If Froch gets paid proper money he'll fight anywhere. He's proven that much.

    Don't talk ****!

You said that Froch was trying to talk his way out of a fight with Ward,so that's credible, but anything that looks a positive from Froch is just talk?

You're contradicting yourself here. It's not my style to dig out posts to make people look bad,but you're forcing my hand here.

semantics. if you prefer, how about "ward hasn't made his comeback from injury yet"?

he'll almost certainly want a tune-up before facing froch.

besides, you're evading my point. your claim that froch is avoiding ward is conjecture, backed by unrelated quotes. using your conjecture as a stick with which to beat froch is making you look desparate and daft.

for what it's worth, i think the fight will probably happen, if ward's rehab concludes without complication.

this seems to be the attitude of a few on here.. it's like they are desperate to be for the fight not to happen and it to be all down to froch avoiding Andre Ward ffs. Why is it so hard to believe that froch is interested in the re-match? and that Ward may just have to fight him again if he wants to be seen fighting the best in his division and in the money.

    What's happening can be summed up pretty easily mate;
Froch wins and a Ward rematch is suggested. The people you refer to say that Froch has no right to ask for a rematch as he was "demolished/enter ridiculous overstatement/exaggeration even though there is not one other credible fight for Ward at 168

Then Froch suggests that if Ward isn't interested,he'll fight Kessler,so then they say he's running scared because he doesn't want to be humiliated again(missed that fight myself.Only saw the one where he was well beaten and stayed on his feet)

Complete double standards when the truth is that Ward can't fill a venue in Oakland, and no one is claiming Froch will win,but he certainly deserves the fight if normal criteria are used.

Methinks they may be getting a bit worried that the Cobra is on a real crest of a wave, whilst Ward, for all his superiority,is dipping his feet in his kids' paddling pool, and a rematch might not be as wide as the first fight was.

    Exactly..

Do folk honestly think that ward will accept a fight with froch in the uk as his next fight? Even if hearn was to make an offer I think it would be rejected in favour of a tune-up after being out so long. One thing for sure is that froch wants the fight in the uk. Also stating that he is willing to fight in vegas if Ward wont travel and it being the only way to make the fight.

Ward isn't a ticket seller. I think the Brits would bring a good bit of people but nothing like Hatton did. The arena would be half empty. I think the TV ratings would do well if it was on regular HBO though.

Gotta give Froch credit not afraid to fight the best which is what this sport needs. The Brits need to support him instead of Glass Jawed jokes like Khan, Price, and Fury. Froch is a legit prizefighter.
