Who will froch fight next this year ?

  1. People don't realise ward is not stuck for opponents but froch is ..

he wont fight ward this yr , Eddie wont risk it yet but it will happen next yr
also hbo are lining up chavez for ward

froch aint giving groves no shot until he proves himself

cleverly again wont happen this yr

Oscars said that they wont fight froch as they have big plans for Hopkins (I am guessing a unification with the winner of clev v shumenov)

so for this yr nov/dec who the hell will froch fight ??? has to be a big name but who??

  2. Not sure of the exact fighter but I can see a nice easy opponent for Carl either at Nottingham or the o2. Yusaf Mack type quality.

And with a stacked under card I can see it being PPV fight

Like it or not Froch is a PPV fighter in this country now

SOG has so many options that he's not fought since early September and has nothing scheduled...

  4. you do realise he has been injured , he had an opp on his shoulder

he has a comeback fight in sept ( some bum ) then he wants another in dec this yr

  5. who is the ibf mando , and is he any good ?

as I know they removed Adonis from that position

Who are the other guys he could be fighting though? Slim pickings unless he moves up a weight class imo.

I think we see Hopkins at 171lbs and then Chavez Jnr in the US.

From a selfish standpoint I want to see Froch/Golovkin, that has the makings of a really good fight.

Probably a mandatory or a ranked opponent in Nov. Then a big one-Ward/Groves in the summer. It wouldn't be long enough to promote a Nov/Dec fight on PPV

Call me crazy but I think Golovkin might stop him in the later rounds, I think Froch might box similar to the Abraham fight weary of GGG power, only problem with that is Golovkin is a technically better boxer than Abraham and will more than hold his own, if Froch starts slow and falls behind on points that is when the fight opens up and Froch could find himself in real trouble.

What go's in Froch's favour is GGG stepping up a division (will he be as effective?) or if he can take Golovkins power he might break his will and out tough him, I think its a really good fight.

If Kessler doesn't retire then I think we'll see a third fight. I reckon Froch does want to fight Ward again but I think Eddie will want to milk him for at least a couple more fights before cashing out.

Steiglitz seems a good opponent to me. The guy's got skills and ambition and after defeating Abraham made himself a household name in Germany, so there could be good money in this fight. And it could be a real ******* :happy
