This is a very bad thread. In terms of where they're at in their careers, etc. Alvarez for Mayweather is closer to Holmes for Ali than it is Foreman for Ali... and it's nowhere remotely close to that.
Comparing Drainedelo to One of the biggest punchers in the history of the sport. Another gem from the *****s AKA the DKSAB Crew. Also Ali was a big underdog when he fought Foreman while Mayweather will be the overwhelming favorite when he fights Canelo. A very poor attempt at making it look like Floyd is taking a much bigger risk than he really is.
*****s...top 10-15ATGatsch. Floyd is not even the greatest in a decade, the very same decade he was fighting in...top10-15ATGatsch. If Floyd beating Canelo is top10-15ATG PAC beating Barerra must be top1ATG
what about foremans ko over Ken Norton? the same Norton who had just went 30 rounds with ali and won and lost split decisions? and foreman had won all his bouts by ko whereas canelo has gone 12 rounds with all three of his legit 154 competition(mosley, rhodes, trout) and was nowhere near stopping shane or Austin.
He actually just KO1'd MVC with this and is now the #1 ATG with a first ballot ticket to the IFHOF. :-(
Canelo is nothing like Foreman imo. It is a solid win though. Nothing to talk **** about, but not something that on its own guarantees ATG status.
Bad comparison, Foreman was a favourite and stopped his biggest challenges, Canelo barely won against Trout.
obvious *****, who is young and dumb, with no sense of history or depth. Canelo is not even close to what Foreman was at the time he faced Ali.
According to who? The biased boxing media and dumb anti-Floyd fans? Floyd Mayweather Jr is the greatest fighter since Roy Jones Jr, followed by Bernard Hopkins. Mayweather and Hopkins have been the two best fighters since 2003-Present. The Fighter of the Decade, Manny Pacquiao, is a ****ing fraud who only got the nod because the media just hates Floyd and loved nothing more than to give it to an undeserving fighter just to slap Mayweather in the face.
