Go to about 13:53 onward for the interview with Marciano and Patterson, Marciano looks about double the width of Floyd, good interview and 2 smart and gracious men. Marciano bulked up nice at the point in time. Prior to that look at Ali's crazy interview and they tell Marciano towards the end of the clip that Ali said Marciano would KO Floyd and Chuvalo in 1-2 rounds and Rocky replies graciously

Rocky was definitely a stocky man. A lot of people think that he could comfortably make it down to 175/168 because he was only 5'11, but the truth of the matter is that Marciano at 185-187 was the lowest he could comfortably go.

In the late 1950s he was in the 200s and he was hardly chubby.

Despite Floyd Patterson being an inch or so taller than Marciano, Marciano was the bigger man between the two. He had the same frame that Mike Tyson and Joe Frazier did but he wasn't as muscled as Tyson.

Here he is in 1958 and clearly is a thick, stocky person.

Exactly he was a heavy runner but in today's world there are other ways of putting on muscle and keeping your stamina....Rocky and his contemporary's, including Louis and Walcott and Charles all chose to cut it close to the bone and stay fit for the 15 rounds but Heavyweights had a weight goal back in those days. Giant heavyweight like the Klitschko's and Lennox Lewis are fit for big men weighing under 250- 240 on heavily muscled bodies but they are exceptions to today's heavyweights some who are 6" and weigh 230-260 but the weight training will blow a guy up.

what? hahahah marciano was naturally smaller than frazier and tyson, rocky was in perfect shape at 185 pounds, at 200 pounds he was a pig, simply like that.the typical history of "rocky could have fought at 210 pounds" pure bull****, frazier and tyson were similar in frame and both them were bigger than rocky, simply tyson was more muscular, frazier weighed 200 pounds at 18... lol marciano was smaller please.. frazier was much thicker

in the minutee 17:35 of your link you can see that rocky was not that big compared with patterson, it was the effect of the camera and rocky was fat and patterson in shape, rocky NEVER WAS AS FRAZIER AND TYSON IN FRAME.

3:43 YOU CAN SEE A YOUNG!!! FRAZIER, NOT FAT NEXT TO PATTERSON AND FLOYD LOOKED A SKINNY KID COMPARED WITH JOE, THIS YOUNG IN SHAPE JOE WAS AS THICK OR THICKER THAN THE FAT ROCKY...

    Patterson was a true gentleman.
I'm not a fan of his as a fighter, but he was a class act.

Most outrageous thing to say in front of both Floyd and Rocky. So rude. So disrespectful to Floyd for that loser to repeat that in front of them. Boxers are never afforded the respect they deserve for what is so much more intimate and personal sport than any other. Its not like a team lost a game, in boxing you actually get beat up and humiliated. Rocky was gracious but should have told the guy off. Floyd was a class act to the point of doing a disservice to himself only for that interviewer to say that. incredible.
