I can't think of any really on par with Lewis/Golota. A whoooooooooooole lot of KO2's that are legendary in the past 20 years. Hell, tons in the past 5 years.
Can we mention ishidia v kirkland The way was a lamb to the slaughter. The lamb grew teeth, big teeth...
It was supposed to be a test and showcase of Kirklands power. no cherrypick has gone so wrong in years. Ishida completely derailed the Kirkland train. Ishida went on to get 3 nice paydays but a sad ending to his career.
Most Impressive after the ones Ive mentioned too me is still to this day. 18th March 1997 Jimmy Thunder vs Crawford Grimsley 1st round KO 13 seconds and was Amazing. Still the record to this day Im pretty sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Y6kog5RJKY
im happy for him personally its always good to see the underdog come out ontop he ammounted to alot more then he ever would have without the kirkland fight. and as for the ending to his career? well if you hop in the shower you are bound to get wet... im just glad he was paid for it
Wonjongkam KO1 Naito I The fastest knockout in Flyweight title fight history. In the first of an epic quadrilogy between the top two flyweights of the time.
Tua vs Ruiz was the first one that came to mind. The circumstances behind the Lewis vs Golota KO were too bizarre to be called impressive.
Past 20 years...??? Wongjongkam KO1 Tunacao Hill KO1 Tiozzo Jones KO1 Griffin (might be a close contender to Lewis-Golota, imo)
