The more I think of this fight the more I think it is a winnable one for Alvarez and I haven't said that for a Floyd fight probably ever. Respect Floyd for taking him on. A real hungry lion with skill not like Ortiz who had a punch but not much else.

Probably. Dangerous in terms of size and power.

Exactly there is no way you can argue Ortiz, or Guerrero was a bigger threat not even Cotto who was and is at the end of his career.

Canelo has some decent skills he is hungry and seems to have the mentality of a kid who really really wants it and that in itself in addition to the size is a huge risk....

I'd like to see how Pac fares against Rios. I want to preface this with me in no way shape or form being a *******. I still think Pacquaio is Mayweather's toughest challenge if the Marquez KO didn't ruin him. Pacquaio's power, speed, footwork and use of angles is what will give Mayweather problems. I still think Mayweather will pull of the victory but it is a very dangerous for him.

As for Canelo, he is far too slow and I don't think he is going to cut the ring off against Mayweather. Trust me, Mayweather didn't engage Guerrero he ain't going to engage Canelo. But Mayweather doesn't have to engage Canelo because Canelo doesn't have fast feet or great footwork. Mayweather will be able to tag Canelo and move all night. It won't be great to watch but it will be effective and lead to a Mayweather decision.

Neither of those guys are defensively gifted. I disagree with people who say Canelo's power is overrated; he has great power. He is the only guy to KO Baldomir. My point is that Canelo has great power but if you can't land on the target it doesn't matter.

I disagree, mattysse is far more proven and dangerous. He would stop canelo in my opinion.

I agree! Pac is Floyds toughest fight.

imo Floyd beats anyone in his weight class 10 times out of 10, except Pacquiao who i would say he beats 8 or 9 times out of 10

Pac is the only guy who stands a chance.

Lara might have a better chance and be impressive due to styles, but Alvarez is a bigger/better fight/victory.

The most dangerous viable opponent. I can't wait for this fight to happen. Forget about size, Canelo is a better boxer than any of the fighters Floyd has previously faced. He is a lot smarter than Ortiz, a lot more flexible and faster than Guerrero, not shop worn as Cotto. If Canelo can't beat Floyd, really, I don't think there is anyone else who can, barring Lara, but Lara is really... too obscure to even consider.

Cakewalk for Floyd. The kid is way too slow, doesn't throw a lot of punches, not much movement. The kid will be the catcher till he gets KO'd or they throw the towel in. He is not going the distance.
