Who is more important to boxing history. Wladimir Klitschko or Floyd Mayweather Jr

I think Klitchko (and his brother) are more significant. They introduced the huge heavyweight who uses skill and jab and style to fight their fight. Floyd is very good, but he does not stand out if you compare him to other guys at welterweight with huge names and superfights like Leonard,Hearns,Duran,Benitez,Delahoya,Shane,Tito. The Klitchko resume is not as great as the significance they have in changing boxing. It will be a long time before a champion can defend a title as long as these guys have. And yes their size helps.

Wlads more of a wrestler than a boxer, he only has one decent boxing skill and the rest is grappling. To argue he is more important than a consummate elusive boxer is a joke.

Mayweather is arguably the GOAT at SuperFeatherweight while Wlad is arguably not even a top 10 Heavyweight.
